I am guessing any day now that mine just rolled off the assembly line. Oh well.

I don't believe this is slated for this model year?

It will most likely be held off until at least the 2015 models year.

Thank You Milous and Willx for responding back. LDW is not a deal breaker for me and I'm excited that my vehicle will be getting adaptive cruise stop and go.

If you pay attention while driving you shouldn't need the LDW.

I think if you happen to activate the LDW 3 times on the same stretch of road on the same trip I think a taser should shoot out from the steering column and hit the driver right in the swimsuit area. That'll help keep you in your own lane.

^^ harsh but true.

Not as bad as the first gen collision avoidance system Volvo introduced a few years back, which consisted of a series of red warning lights on the dash... I always thought to myself, why not just look out the window?

I opted not to get the advanced tech. Crutches make me lazy.

Sorry Guys I actually enjoy the safety features that new vehicles offer. My wife and I have recently welcomed our Newest and best edition (Son) to our family and I will take every safety feature Jeep has to offer, if that means protecting my son. There are a ton of things that can and will distract you on the road. I'm sure 99% of the time I will never need LDW but I'm paying for that 1% of the time that LDW might save my or my newborn's life. I'm sure when ABS first rolled out people also thought that feature was not needed because you could simply pump your brakes. Now I couldn't imagine a car coming with out this feature. FYI Tech package wasn't an option for me because I ordered the Summit model, so call me lazy. I didn't want to pick through all of the options, I just wanted them all.

VIN#s

Hi All - In an effort to perhaps sway me from purchasing the vehicle I test drove, I was wondering if there is a way to find out the build date on a JGC using the VIN#? I was otherwise going to factory order but obviously, if a properly functioning JGC is on the dealer lot now, why wait? (And suffer with MOTS lol)

I took a test drive of the JGC with the wife today along with other S/CUVs that could potentially sway me away (CX5/CX9/Traverse/Equinox). Anyway, the JGC Limited LuxII/RA4 I test drove today "functioned" mechanically in my short test drive (PM Rush hour starting) and when parked back at the dealer, it appeared that the remote start and the 2x remote hatch worked perfectly.

By the way, the WHITE with BEIGE interior won us over that I am asking this about the VIN#s!

If that's the one you want then why order one?

The vin label in the door jamb should have build date on it
