I would guess that Milous works for the marking department of Jeep, I don't think that Jeep would not want to control such information and would not stop him from doing this. And I think they could. Even if what he does is in their best interest. I think he does all this because Jeep wants him to. If he does not work for the marketing department he should get an extra bonus, the way he creates Jeep addicts is just great :D. I did plan to get a GC but now I don't even consider anything else ;).

But who cares whether he does this as part of his job or "privately" (with the blessing of Jeep) it's just great for all of us desperate for such information. :D Thanks Milous

p.s. I think it is very professional for a Company to support their customer community in such a way. Jeep seems to be up to speed in this regard. Fits into my picture of the company.

p.p.s. And to all of you who work for Jeep and build these things. Thanks. There are many people out there who really appreciate your products, I'm one of them!

I've been driving the Kia Sportage Diesel for about a week and couldn't be more happy with it. It has all of the bells and whistles including ALL of the guesses that we have come up with regarding the off-road CRD "tidbit".

So my advice is skip the 2014 GC and just get a Sportage instead and save yourself lots of $$.

and exterior paint choice of black clear coat.

Do it JEEP!
I think I have seen you post this 1,000 times. I had regular black on my 06 and it sucked. It only looks good when you buff it every month. Other than that it shows every imperfection and never stays clean. I would think Brilliant Black would be so much easier to take care of.

Lol, yes.. 4jeepdiesel is just messing around.. You've gotta read a few pages back to see where the sarcasm begins. Nobody in their right mind would even compare a Sportage to the GC. Much less make an "informed" purchase. Lol

For anyone who is planning on ordering a 2014 model... there will be a tidbit I will be posting sometime next month that has to do with something you will need to know before placing your order, something VERY important (and I do mean VERY important!!).

was going to say methanol/water injection since it seemed it was diesel specific, then he said all 4x4's, or did i read wrong(and "m" isn't the second half of alphabet i guess)? meth/water injection would add power and help keep cool off road, and add mpg's on road, never offered on a vehicle before(only aftermarket). winch(powerwagon), forward camera('13 Raptor has it), trying to think of all the add ons i read about in diesel mags, and four wheeler, etc. would be nice to have a decent set of shoes so i don't have to buy new tires for my new jeep.

Has anyone guessed a built in compressor to inflate/deflate "tire pressure" from a switch/knob? (I think this feature may have been on hummers but I'm not sure.)

Or a knob to change the interior lighting color?

Or perhaps a periscope-type PTZ camera that we can control from inside the cabin?

I think the real clue is the Hyphen.

Jeep's 4WD systems have hyphenated names.

Quadra-Trac
Rock-Trac
Quadra-Lift

etc.... so....

Something's hyphenated, and diesel related.

If it's a new 4WD system it may spell trouble as the QL had lots of problems when it first came out.

Maybe it's not a hyphen and it's a "dash". Something to do with the dash board?

I'm thinking "next-clue" narrows down the first letter of the description. With E as a given clue for the second letter.. So that gives us Ne, Xe, Te, or Ue.. From that I'd suspect its Te.

Maybe TEN something?

Reguarding the Tidbit, I believe Milous (post #1191) said that it has to do with 4wd system and isn't really particular to any engine (Diesel or Gas)..

So...

2nd half of alphabet (N-Z)
2nd letter is E
Something with 4wd system
Switch/knob/control
Gas or Diesel engine
Possibly next clue has to do with post #1225 quotes?

Continue the madness that Milous has created for us!
