I was wondering if anyone knows the color of the Miknasa Walnut trim in the Limiteds? Is is similar to the 2011-2013 Laredo trim (Ebony) or is it more of a dark brown? I did my best with the pic from post #2 of the Ordering thread, but I couldn't really tell.

Also, is the wheel and center stack color the same as the Summit with chrome instead of copper accents around the HVAC and under the bezel and door trim?

The vast majority of them are in the dark. I just had to email a bunch of links to mine and he's at the biggest dealer in the country.

Wow, this thread has exploded since the launch. You guys aren't playing around getting your orders in already. I'm waiting until the wi-fi is available, then pulling the trigger. Hope no one answered this already, but is the HK system going to be available as an option on the Overland?!?

Hello, this is my first post and I would like to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum. The information and opinions are greatly appreciated.

I plan to order a 2014 GC and am undecided between the Hemi and the Diesel. I see they have the same towing capacity, but have not seen any performance data for the two engines with the new 8-speed transmission (0-60mph, 30-70mph, etc.). Is this published anywhere or is it yet to be determined? If unpublished, anyone care to speculate on the difference?

I like the added fuel economy of the diesel even at the higher cost per gallon, but do not want to sacrifice too much performance off the line or at highway speeds.

current Diesel 5spd quoted 0-60 in Australia is 8.5 sec I think. the 8speed has a much lower first gear ratio so could knock off 1/2 sec making it in the 7.X range
there is however dudes on Youtube claiming the current one will do 0-60mph in 7.5sec, maybe launching off the break and trashing the engine.
The Hemi should see a little improvement also maybe less as the V8 will rev out more than the diesel and is not so limited by the auto.

Does anyone know the rough price Delta expected between an Overland and a Summit ? e.g. $2000, $5000 , more ?
I analysed the specs and can see the following and just not sure if its worth it - just depends on price.

Summit additional equipment above Overland spec;
Harmon Kardon 19 speaker sound system
Suede look headliner
Natura leather seats
Adaptive Headlights
Different style 20" polished alloy wheels
Forward Parking Alert/sensors
Quadra-Drive II
Adaptive Cruise Control
Blonde Spot Monitoring
Forward Collision Waring
Rear Cross Path Detection
Different front bumper lower section

Well I went to my dealer and was still torn between Max Steel and white so I went home and realized that what is the color because my wife isn't a fan of MS. Now I'm stuck waiting til tomorrow to do anything. Hopefully this doesn't delay my order.
