30 days until the time you pick it up. I asked my dealer about that, he laughed and said , your Jeep won't be here in 30 days.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Member Andoskyy on a "different" jeep forum just posted this in a thread over there regarding the '14 GC:

"FYI. All 4 of the dealerships I've been communicating with said that the pricing was removed by Chrysler today and they're not sure when it'll go back up.

Likely some kind of pricing mistake on the first run. All of them said they had looked higher than they all expected."

Anyone else heard anything along these lines?

Any idea how much it would cost to buy and install all the skid plates included with ORAII? I don't see any other way to order the skid plates and keep the 20" wheels.
Not sure on the pricing, but I do know that MOPAR and JustForJeeps among other websites have them for sale on line.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

What's going on in Michigan? Milous only made 3 posts today, while we haven't heard from ChevyBoy in a couple of days.

Maybe Sergio is coming for a visit and everybody is waxing floors and polishing door knobs.

we have the offroad package 1 on our '12, and ill be getting the offroad package 2 if we wind up getting a '14. we dont offroad it, but its our tow vehicle for our offroad wrangler and one day we may need it to be a recovery vehicle if possible. plus i want the air bag suspension to keep everything level when towing.

*edit* plus, i like having the skid plates. they help with crap on the road getting tossed around under a vehicle going down the road, and arguably help a little with aerodynamics.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Regarding pricing convos... I used MSRP prices before we had invoice, and assumed 6% off the vehicle and 10% off the extras. I was close to what Milous posted. I took these assumptions "on the road" and actually stopped in an two dealers I contacted by email initially. I did this last weekend. It took 4 calls and 2 dealer visits to quickly find the "bottom" of the market at invoice, less 4%. I secured that deal in writing from my preferred dealer (I ultimately had the two I visited in person offer me that price). I hate walking into dealerships most times, but if you have a purpose and a clear sense of what you want, they'll play. All you emailers, it's worth considering taking your best offer and visiting another dealer. I ONLY deal with the managers, btw.

Now, the question remains on what they'll charge for fees. I'd love to see others keep posting what they're being quoted. My dealer is still not quoting fees, as they are saying they still don't have *final* pricing. Once I get those fee quotes I'll share. So far I've seen Pat's $162, someone else posted $199, another posted $599. Knowing these prices keeps giving us leverage, but still not insult the dealer. I think that's a good way to do it. Be firm within reason.

I was not impressed.

There's a few of us Pacific Northwesters looking for dealers...

Let me kknow how Dave Smith goes. If we can get stuff delivered for us, that maybe the best solution (ordering from another dealer like Pat or Dave Smith).
Hi forum...for my first post, I couldn't help but chime in on Dave Smith...

I have been in contact with them for the past few weeks. They told me they would do it for invoice. Then they also include tinting all the windows.

A couple years ago I got a Buick Enclave from them and I could have sworn they were invoice -$500.

With a little strong arming by a few of us, I can't imagine the largest Chrysler dealer in the country not budging a little bit.

As for the Dave Smith experience...it is pretty nice. Both myself and a friend went there, and it is a pretty easy transaction. I guess they are one of the largest dealers to the state of Washington, so they handle EVERYTHING for our state.

MY buddy also went there a few years ago and he got a great trade in. So the rumor on trade ins as far as I know holds true.
