Limited's have the V6 as base. Overland/Summit get the 5.7L as a base (an over $2k option). The diesel is another $5k on top of that. Basically the diesel costs $4500 in the US, and over $7k in Canada. I confirmed this with a dealer.

Cheapest diesel JGC you can get in Canada is about $64,000 plus tax (Overland+Diesel+Destination).
I was considering a GC with CRD for my new vehicle, I was all excited when I saw there was going to be a diesel, but when I saw the price I couldn't believe it. Canadians being gouged again, doesn't appear to be any reason for it either, most of the other options are in the same ballpark as the US price wise. I just don't want to have to feed the V-8 to get a 4 low capable vehicle, guess I'll have to look elsewhere now.

Summits in Canada are $7k more than in states with the Hemi. Just like everything else. We here in Canada get gouged. Get the Diesel option in the Summit and forget about it. It's a $5k premium over the Hemi where in States its only I believe ~$2500 premium over Hemi.

I'm looking at around $65k for a Summit with Hemi here in Canada all in with tax. I'm still haggling. Now with the diesel option I'd be looking at over $70k. Ridiculous.

That's TWO Laredo E's in the states! I can see why you Canucks aren't happy.

Yup Canadian pricing is ridiculous! You could get a Mercedes ML 350 Diesel for less than that!

Limited, Overland, and Summit with the standard Pentastar V6 come with 4 low and selec-terrain.

Thanks for that. Much closer than the jeep.com chips.

You really have to go see the colors in my estimation. They are very deceiving, particularly the max steel, true blue, and forrest green. My dealer referred to them as chameleon colors. I didn't get it until I went and saw them personally. They look very different in cloudy versus sunny conditions. Surprisingly darker in the sunnier it was. The good thing is that the MY13s have those colors on the lots now.

Wow, Max Steel and True Blue look almost black. I went looking for an example of Max Steel on a dealer lots after reading here how it's hard to really capture in a picture. Couldn't find any JGCs, will have to go back and look for the other models.

Man I wish they would have offered the Blue Streak Pearl (or the Shadow Blue Pearl from the Viper) on the SRT... Oh well, maybe that will come with the Hellcat

It's obvious black is number one making it the best

Did anyone else notice the mention of Crystal Sapphire? Isnt this a new color? I thought the new blue was Pacific Blue...
