Thanks! I'm looking at a base Overland, so it should be pretty simple.

Then just take invoice price and add the destination fee. Negotiate from there. Good luck

Just keep in mind that the new X5 is just around the corner. That might not matter to you but in case you want to drive a vehicle that's "up to date", it might..

Destination. 995
CRD. 4005
ADG. 1509
AHN. 2670
Total 45371

Overland GC. 43736
Destination 995
CRD. 4005
ADG. 1509
AHN. (Standard)
Total. 50245

Difference is 4874.00

Other than RA3 Nav Ready, 18" rims and the Quadra Lift system most other differences appear to be cosmetic only. Is my math wrong?
I think your math is right, but you really are not apples / apples. The Overland gives you a sunroof and towing package that close the gas by about $1500. Add the 20" wheels and the gap narrows to $2-3k difference, which is about what everyone else is seeing. I chose a more loaded Limited so my $2k difference would really just be the specific equipment not available in the Limited. To me, most is cosmetic.
The big difference is the QL system. If I could buy an Overland without the QL, it would probably be ordered by now....especially with this stupid Lux II issue!

Checked online. My GJC is at the "Trim" stage in the build process. FYI

Milous shows mine in "I" with the build finished last night at 11:45p. I'm in DC, and ordered from a high volume dealership in the area, so we'll see when I actually take delivery.

I wonder if the dealer can actually deliver it to the customer before the official launch date.

Does anybody have any insight on that?

Lux 2 gives me the pano sunroof too, although if I had my choice I'd delete it. Too many complaints about rattling for my liking in another thread. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something too obvious so I appreciate the help. Not really interested in 20" rims or QL. Although I do like the dash being covered in leather I'm not willing to upgrade for something like that.

Can't wait too order my CRD Limited. No whammies!

2014 x5 diesel is 'late avail' and I like the old styling better than the new refreshed 3 series front. - maybe its the pres day weekend event that makes it better?

Looks like they snuck multiple paint surcharges in after initial pricing was announced. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I have updated the pricing post.

That's a pretty big delta between MSRP and invoice. The options on a BMW are super expensive, so I wonder how loaded that X5 is?

Beautiful cars, but I'm a little sour on BMW. Replacing my 545i, which I bought new, with a 14 GC. My 545i was great until 100K miles and then the bills started adding up and haven't stopped. There are known issues on the 545 that BMW refuses to recall.

Good luck. They are awesome to drive!

The official launch date probably has to do with marketing (e.g., that's when the press release goes out that 2014s are now on sale, when they start advertising 2014s in commercials, on the website, etc.) and not sales.
