Glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. Hope it's silver in my summit with black leather or daddy's not gonna be happy. This isn't a Hertz special!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Hi guys. Looking to get a new 2014 but had a few questions for those of you who have modified your jeep or bought already. On the jeep.com website and the brochure, there's no room for flexibility in mixing/matching aspects of different trims. For example, I'm not a big fan of chrome mirrors, so can I get the Limited but have body color mirrors instead? I also love the interior of the Overland but prefer a leather steering wheel rather than wood. Is this the type of thing that Jeep is willing to work with you. Or do I have to pick one trim and modify aftermarket? Thanks.

Lots of us wish we could do exactly what you are talking about.
Sadly, the answer is no.

At least they should still be able to be ordered on the 5th.
For the $4500 add-on, they should have several large warehouses full of them waiting to be hooked up.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

With an April production date, I would not be surprised if the CRD is not going to be in there next week.

Looking on the bright side, the economy should be tanking again by April... Might be able to get a better price by then.

Of course he does.

And it looks almost black - everywhere but on the Jeep website, where it looks a little darker than tan with some silver/grey over-tones.

Well, it looks like it is the same as offered in the Chrysler 300, right?

Helped, but I still want to know when the actual build & price option will be on the website. Seems odd for what should be standard or ordinarily optional equipment to be spaced over such a long time. Odd.

Still, it'd be nice to be on the actual Jeep website.
Soon, I hope.

It's all probably pretty normal. If it wasn't for this site, you wouldn't know what was going on behind the scenes. And, it could be it's not on the Jeep website yet because they don't want to show all the late availibilty stuff. A month ago it looked even worse.
