I'm ordering an Overland so the Lux 2 is irrelevant. All of that is already on the Overland base.

A local dealer sent me finance and lease rates.

Lease residuals were as follows (this was yesterday and for a '14 Overland V6 4x4):

24 mo. - 59%
36 mo. - 49%
39 mo. - 47%
42 mo. - 45%

Super low on that 36 mo. in my opinion (ideal would be 55% or so). Finance rates are low - might as well buy. Just depends how long you plan on keeping the Jeep. He also said they typically change monthly and he'd update on Monday with new rates when he returns.

He did not as I didn't ask about that. I just emailed him asking though. He's usually pretty quick to reply. I'll let you know what he says.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Talked with my dealer (Ferman Jeep Tampa); they have several Diesels to order now and they feel confidant Tuesday afternoon is when they will be able to place the orders. I will post, as I am sure everyone will, when the order is placed.

Just got word from Pat at Fields Jeep that the ETA for me is March 9th. I assume mine should be getting built any day now.

Just left the same auto show ... The lights they had pointed at the Billet Silver makes it look much brighter in person and in pictures than it is in actuality. Not that it's dark but it's darker than the pictures and lighting shows there. I was SUPER impressed with the black Overland at the show. I was frustrated that the only beige interior was the one on the pedestal that you couldn't see or sit in.

Those aren't that bad. My 011 was closer to 42 or 43% if I remember correctly. Remember Chrysler's residuals really took a nose dive after the bankruptcies. It's going to be a slow climb to better rates.

While I seriously doubt that Chrysler will put any money on the hoods right away, it wouldn't hurt to call Chrysler customer service to see if they are offering any lease loyality incentives (if you currently lease a Chrysler product)

I really hope you can but if it isn't already built I don't think you'll see it on March 9. But who knows, maybe they're picking up the pace.

Good luck.

There, it's listed in phase "Production Scheduled" as well as model type and options ordered. All checked out and will periodically visit the site to check as it moves thru the "Production Stages" cycle.
Yeah, not sure how but I also ordered on the 21st after allocation was supposedly closed. I was prepared to wait until 3/5 before seeing any movement, but went D1 status yesterday, the 27th, with estimated delivery of 3/14 - only 4 days after bill_de who ordered a month prior and is being delivered ~15 miles away. I don't get it, but not going to question it!

I don't understand the system. I ordered on 2/12 and went to D1 today with a delivery of 3/22...
