Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information

I hope invoice on the All Weather Capability Group is a decent amount lower (invoice and MSRP for 2013 are essentially the same), otherwise I'll have to consider getting the ORAI package instead, which is $700 cheaper. Only thing is I wouldn't care about the loss of the heated seats but I would kinda sorta care about the loss of remote start (but I don't think I care $700 worth).

But, Scott and Pat both asid that regardless of how quickly an order is modified, even if it hasn't been assigned to D/D1 or any status, it'll probably equal a delay, so... maybe I'll just eat the extra cost and not risk it. Hmm...

Question for those who have heated seats, how worth it are they?

(Another thing to keep in mind is I guess it can be said that the heated seats will help with resale value, maybe.)

But yeah, at least there's only about a 2.4% increase for the Laredo E, that's a relief!

V6 if you want savings
V8 if you want performance

Diesel is currently in nowhere land ... it doesn't offer savings nor I don't think it will match V8 performance. With all this emission control stuff ... just not worth it.

Personally I don't use them myself very often but I do live in Georgia...My wife on the other hand uses the heated seats basically from September until May!

But I think they would charge you $700 for QDII if you selected Hemi. I think I've seen somebody posting that QDII will now be standard on Hemi and Diesel.Essentially you would get QDII instead tow group and the price would stay the same.

If it stays like that it might kill a lot of sales.

see above its currently faster 0-60mph than the v8 and uses half the fuel

I had said earlier you have to get the V8 engine to have the OPTION to get the QDII. (Jeep won't let you add QDII if you get a V6) as you probably already know.

So, I think it's $2,195 for the V8 on an Overland, and another $695 if you want to add QDII also. Does it say anywhere what's included with the 5.7L V8 Hemi option on an Overland?

Keep in mind the V6 (and V8 of course) performance is expected to increase thanks to the 8-speed. By how much, only time will tell.

I sure hope because of the high cost of the CRD it keeps sales down gets offered in the Laredo later in the year I personally would rather have the CRD than the "pretty" involved with an overland for $15k cheaper...

Think Outside !- No Box Required.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information

Thanks Milous for the pricing. I see what I want:
Laredo E 4x4
E package
18" wheel and RA3 radio group
Off Rd 1
Trailer Tow
Black Int.
Granite Crystal Ext
MSRP = $36,290
Does that list seem doable for the Laredo E without any delays in availability. I'm shooting for May?
