Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information

No Luxury package on a V8 Limited = deal breaker
$8,000 up charge for an Overland over Limited = deal breaker

Unless Invoice is way cheaper than I am expecting, or the Limited options change in a few days, then no Jeep for me. Bummer.

Ditto. While it's really only been a few days that we've had any specific information (Scott, thank you! Milous, thank you! Pat, thank you!), I am in a similar boat as Sno. Looks like a Limited 4x4 V8 with some options is in my future. But if it's gonna be the new one, it might as well look like the new one. Question for the group: how long before the SRT front/tail lamps are available to swap in? The blacked-out look is pretty sweet.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information

Diesel is running more than 20% over regular unleaded and 10% over premium here in the Midwest; granted gas is down right now but then again diesel has been between $3.85 and $4.05/gal all last year. Premium rarely went over diesel all last year. We own one of both so I've been paying attention.

I agree... Totally insane. Thats the exact phrase my wife used when I mentioned the pricing... And she loves her diesel.

Well, you can either

- join me waiting for MY15

or, if they sort it out in near future

- remind yourself that there is at least one dude on the forum who needs to wait even longer than you

Yes, did some calculations and my heart sank (as well as a bit of vomit in my throat). Hopefully that's a big WAY...

Milous, do you expect this might change over the next 4 or 5 months? Seems a little silly it wouldn't be offered on the Billet or Granite, as I think it would look good with those.

Also, do you have any idea what sort of color the Pacific Blue is? Is it going to be similar to Winter Chill? If you want to let the designers know -- an awesome blue would be a gray/blue like what the maximum steel looks like on the Jeep website for the 2014's right now....

The nav license is probably pretty expensive.

Well of course we will all pay 1% under invoice maximum... but I think what we are saying is that the invoice pricing will be proportional to MSRP... and it seems like pricing has gone up quite a bit from last year, so invoice obviously will as well.

I think in general if you figure about 7% off MSRP thats gonna give you about INVOICE. I think.

Ditto....I need HIDs here in Montana and can't afford an Overland. Start looking for other suv's or crossovers with HIDs [I don't go off roading anyway]. I guess now that the GC is selling well, it's time to start gouging the loyal customers.

Wow, I drive from Reno to SF this evening and when I get there the CRD motor option is about 2x as much as I thought it would be and the base overland got a significant price bump too.

Gotta crunch numbers. :
