Chevy, are you sure on the Billet Summit ?
According to Milous' first post on color availability, Billet only on Laredo, Limited,Overland and SRT and not on Summit.
Perhaps it was an SRT you saw ?
(per VOTS my Billet Overland is supposedly at Shipment status).

Problem was, there were already a few thousand cars built that had to be fixed, and so this presented more delays.. Later builds (with the fix in place) actually began shipping before many of the initial batch, bc of the amount of work it takes/took to repair those cars. Hence some getting their cars first, that ordered after others. Again, I can't go into detail as to what exactly was affected, but I can tell you that none have been shipped without the "fix" in place, and it's not something any of you will ever notice. As a matter of fact, when you get your Jeep it will be impossible to tell whether or not yours was one that was in that batch, even if you take the whole car apart in your driveway. There is NO DIFFERENCE between the builds. And you can take that to the bank Jack!
Wow this may answer why our delivered Overland has a higher serial number than those still in transit.

Absolutely sure!

100% sure!

Without an ounce of doubt, sure!

Paint matched the lower trim perfectly. I said, wow.. That really is granite. So sorry for the misinformation a while back on that.. Prolly should have my eyes checked.

It was apart of the group headed to the China show. If I remember correctly, there were 2 Cashmere Summits, a Black Summit, a Granite Summit, and a Black Limited up there.. Along with some other stuff. But these were specifically tagged, "Do not touch, for China show -per Mark McDowell" and they all were locked. Both the Cashmere Summits had Jeep Brown interiors, and I believe all the rest had black.

And surprisingly, the granite lowers look good against the Cashmere too! Cashmere REALLY makes that trim look like a gentlemans car. Definitely gotta shine your shoes, crease your pants, and throw on a blazer when you drive one of those!

Idea for chevyboy as he coined the term "great catastrophe"...copyright the term and market special GCT badges, (Great Catastrophe Triumph) for those first off the line 2014 Jeeps

Does the Cashmere look similar to the light Greystone Pearl that went from 2005 to 2008 or 9?

Granite Crystal Metallic. May not have the Jeep, but I'll still drop in and keep up with the news.

The Cashmere ext. color always intrigued me especially coupled with the Jeep brown interior...like you say, I imagine it as "upscale"...besides the blazer, dress pants and shined shoes, do you think a tux with bowtie and patent leather shoes will work ? Looking forward to see one in person.

Got it.

My dealer has been very little help throughout this process as well.

Saw my first '14 Limited on the street today. Very nice and the upgrades are great but I'll only replace my '12 if/when I can get a Laredo with backup camera. Leather would be nice in the Laredo too. Chrome mirrors and trim ain't for me.

Leather isn't an option in the Laredo unless you do aftermarket.

I want to try to see if the rear view camera can be added to the Laredo. It comes standard with the same radio on the limited so I'm hoping it is plug and play with a dealer flash.
