Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Hi folks!

Is $49,646+tax/doc fee a good deal on a 2014 GC Summit? They are offering a $2000 rebate but too bad I'm not military, don't own a vw and I don't lease a car :-(

doc fee is $299

What do you guys think? Can it get better than that? It seems bellow invoice not even counting with the destination fee which is already on the price.

Looks like after all of that you're still paying sticker price even thought they lowered the fees slightly. I'm sure you can do better by shopping around.

I think I should have mentioned the sticker price is actually $54.685, it's a 5.7L V8

base price on the sticker $50.995
5.7L V8 $2.695
destination $995

Does it sound like a better deal now? It's the only summit around here... 5 dealers or so within 50 miles and none has a summit.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

The doc fee seems a little high. Mine's about half that, but I guess some of that depends on where you live.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

In my opinion, that's a VERY GOOD DEAL to get that Jeep for anything under $50k.

I was shooting for an even $50k on the SAME vehicle and struck out !!

Here was my story:
Help: Struck Out ordering '14 Summit at 2 Dealers !

Invoice is showing as $50,735
Plus Destination $ 995
Total $51,730

So 3% Below Invoice is still $50,178 so you are at about 4% Below Invoice.

Unless I calculated wrong, or got the wrong prices from Page 1, I think that's a good deal.

I am still looking for a 4x4 Summit V8 for $50,000 !!!

Drive down to DC and join the group buy. 7% below invoice, no questions asked.

It's only a good deal if paying the monthly note doesn't strangle your other needs in life. With license tile and tax you're still wayy over 50k!! Have they shown you the invoice and allowed you to work downwards from there??

Yes, actually quite tempting !

Just not sure I want to put that 5 hour ride home as the first driving on my new Jeep.

Also, did any of the DC'ers trade in anything ? (Didn't read it all)
