Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

My 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited is a couple hours away from Ottawa! The dealer offered me extended coverage 5 years or 100,000 KM not miles at Cdn $3,300 and rust inhibitor at $1,299

Seems like you guys in the US are getting a much much better deal again! in addition to pricing !

I am no buying either and will look elsewhere for the rust protection

If you go past 1 year you will pay more. Also there is a possibility of a price increase. In addition. I have found it better to negotiate as part of the total purchase. Exciting news today. Not sure where my dealer is getting this, think Chase, but I got financing for 1.64%. They told me this is the same rate for 60 OR 72 months. I have not heard if rates this low especially for 72 months. Picking vehicle up on Thursday so will find out the lender.

It does seem that Chase bank is having these low rates. I also will be getting my loan from Chase at 1.49%

I decided on 5 year, 60,000 mile MaxCare for $765. Why is it so expensive in Canada?

That's only additional 2 years over 3 year factory bumper to bumper coverage.

Myself trying to decide between Max Care and Added Care Plus but looking for lifetime coverage. I usually drive my cars until wheels falls off - my current ride is closing in on 204K miles.

800 covered components vs. over 5000 covered. The few hundred dollars more is worth going with max care in my opinion. Now if I was buying a base model I may think differently

Canada pricing higher - good question!!! I paid 47,000 before taxes and another 1,200 accessories for a limited with 8.4 nav and towing - much much higher than in the US

I thought my 1.6 from Sun Trust was good.

No wonder Mike from AutoNation is predicting the best ever year for car sales this country has ever seen.

Anybody remember when GMAC offered a great rate of 12% just to move cars? Banks were getting 18%

My loan from the dealer is Chase for 1.49%...they matched the rate PenFed had and I was pre-approved for at that point, although they tried to sneak 1.99% by on the paperwork, thinking I wouldn't actually sit there and read it before signing at the bottom.

1.49 for 72 months is excellent, dam shame the dealer tries to bang you with a higher rate if you don't read the papers,I wouldn't be visiting that dealer again. I did hear penfed.org was good for quick preapprovals and I'm glad dealers are matching others rates and chase is giving good rates.
