The 08's are nice. Saddle interior? Call Keith at Green Diesel Engineering and get the ECO tune. On my 07 I managed to get 24 - 25 mph in the city in the warm months.

I figured out the delay on the 14 CRD. It's been replaced with the LNE. Lock Ness Edition. Come on Nessie...

Actually the LNE is being shipped to Great Britain, we're getting the SBE over here-Sasquatch Bigfoot.
Light tan interior (had to have something to make up for the fact that it's black-love the color...but not looking forward to a TX summer!) Big yes on the GDE tune, an elephant hose mod, and maybe a resonatorectomy. Today will be a "familiarization" with all the bells and whistles....play with nav (update?), pair iPhones, see if the Evic is missing the trip function (couldn't find it on cursory drive home last nite)...may have to open the OWNERS MANUAL!!!! Yikes!

The specs on the VM engine are better for the US, when compared to last years European specs.
We get the same spec as you (8 Speed, higher Power and Torque output etc) minus the piss tank you guys need to have.

The Big Foot Edition Would work For Me Too.

I Removed The Kidney Bean "Silencer" On MIne. I Used Two Silicon 90 Elbows And A Piece Of Straight Stainless Tube. One 90 Off The Intercooler And One Off The Factory Tube From The Turbo, After I Cut off The Factory End Of That Tube. A Little Patience To Measure The Straight Tube And It Was Fairly Easy.

Remembering back to those posts, I think that he also hinted that there may be something going on with suppliers and parts.

The CRDs have been selling in Europe and Oz. However, the US has much higher emissions standards. We have higher federal standards and, I am thinking, that California may also be higher yet. Installing the new CRD for the US market, fine tuning it to match a new 8 speed transmission, and then reducing emissions with the Urea SRC catalytic converter (that is not used in Europe and Oz), to match US standards, has to have presented engineering challenges and last minute changes.

So meeting different emissions standards can cause engineering changes, which can cause the need for additional parts, which causes the need for additional supply contracts, and this causes logistical delays.

Milous did say that a bunch of the CRDs have been produced and are being tested on our roads. I wonder how they are doing with their emissions during their dyno testing and real world testing. Passing grades there, and suppliers who can meet the new demands, may put us one step closer.

Might need some assistance here but I know that Oz is getting the SCR system I just don't know when? Am I correct that 2016 is the first year they will see the "piss tanks" ?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Selling over MSRP? HAHAHAHA! (And that is for any car, not just the Jeep).

I really do feel sorry for some people. I get some people that just don't care about money...but the fact that so many people get taken advantage of by dealers is amazing.

Makes me wonder where AOL Autos gets its data. Seems unbelievable that the AVERAGE selling price is 5.5% above MSRP. Half the users paid more than that? Really??

The last car I remember for selling for more than MSRP was the initial Prius, I haven't heard of any doing that locally since then...

I have nooooo idea where they got this info.

Better yet. If you want a great deal go buy another car? So in one sentence they claim these are good cars based on demand and another that you should buy something else if you want a deal?

So let me get this straight, if you want a good deal go buy a vehicle that is not as good? Who wrote this crap?
