Wrong. A sunroof always robs headroom.

I think it depends. The typical "moonroof" slides under the sheetmetal. Every pano roof I have seen slides over the back glass. In that case you loose headroom around the perimeter but gain it under the glass relative to a solid roof.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

If they can cram Shaq's super-sized behind in a small Buick, I'm curious how anyone can have headroom problems in a Jeep!

Edit: I just rewatched that commercial on YouTube.. Shaq's Lacrosse didn't have a sunroof.. That explains it.

That's cuz you drive an SRT and your head is plastered back to the headrest due to the G-forces.

You don't know that for sure. When they came out with the indigo mix people questioned it and it looks stunning. Also, when they came out with the 2014 TRAILHAWK... wait a minute. I think I just proved your wrong on the designers doing a good job all of the time.

I am between 6'2" and 6'3" and I have less than two inches between my head and the sun roof shade. I don't have a problem with the spacing due to past experiences making me happy to have that space, but to me SE3.5's issue isn't that he doesn't fit, he just wants the additional vertical space to be comfortable. I get it isn't an option, but his desire isn't crazy or odd, if you have ever been in a car you don't fit in, the extra space is comforting.... I have been in cars (and airplanes) that were too small for me to drive/pilot and it ain't fun.

Finally a man who understands. I sometimes drive 700 miles in a day. I need to be comfortable.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

hey folks, I need some specific info on interior trim colors. It seems there is a bronze and a silver color of trim on the air condition vents, steering wheel, and console. What determines whether you get the silver trim or the bronze colored trim? I originally thought it was interior color determined what color the trim pieces were, but I am wrong. I see alot of dealer pictures of Laredo E's with this bronze trim, and a black interior.

Ouch, that's a lot of miles, I haven't had to do that in a couple of years. Luckily when I did, I was in a F250 in Wyoming, where the ruts on the highway are so bad from the 18wheelers that once you were in them on the highway you didn't have to steer, because there was no way out of them, lol. Of course trying to get out of the ruts to exit could be scary fun!

2014 Grand Cherokee
Laredo (black; black/beige) = bronze
Limited (black; black/beige) = bronze
Overland (black; frost beige) = bronze
Overland (indigo blue/jeep brown) = silver
Summit (jeep brown) = copper
Summit (black) = silver
SRT (black, sepia?/black) = silver

I know it doesn't answer your question directly, as I can only speak for the Summit - The copper trim comes with the brown interior and the silver comes with the black. Though I think the black in the other trims gets the bronze, but not the ghastly copper, on the black trims too. I could be wrong, though. When I was looking , the non silver trim on the non summits was better looking than the copper trim on the brown summit.
