If it is canned then I can order a car immediately.
I have been seeing the Jeep Commercial constantly that shows the JGC EcoDiesel. Canning it at this late date would be really bad press. They are selling loads of them overseas. If they don't sell many in the U.S. they might discontinue making them. Chevy has a diesel sedan: the "2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel"(46 mpg hwy). BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and VW all have diesel SUV's.
The Jeep beats all of them in Off Road Capabilities and most in on road comfort.
THEY ARE NOT CANNING THE DIESEL!
I think it is very close.
My guess is they have a production quota in mind for those being shipped overseas before they build any for the New U.S. market. I think this is the reason for the delayed ordering date. I am often wrong.
