Just got mine in the mail today as well! Signed up for updated a couple of times going back to January.

At least the bonus cash offsets the $500 increase on the hemi that I was rewarded with for waiting for the diesel...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

So any more details on why the mopar exterior appearance group is delayed indefinitely? Seems odd since it seems like all of those parts are available from mopar right now - or is that an illusion like the EcoDiesel?

In any case, if the rumors are true that EcoDiesel ordering opens on June 11th, I'll be placing my order on that day. I want the exterior appearance group (mostly for the side steps), but should I avoid putting that on the order so that my order doesn't get held up by that?

Would love to see Milous, Chevy or Marlon chime in on this rumour. Deny or confirm.

They will not build an order or schedule an order that has an exception on it. This may become strictly dealer installed as well. If you want it to get scheduled then don't order a constrained part.

I told you guys I had a dream about a CRD the other day! And I take everything to be a sign of something..

I'm not sure about that date, so I won't confirm/deny, but I do know they exist, and are going into full production soon.

Edit: Sorry, the dream post was in another thread..

It is OK Chevy, we jump around and try and keep up with you.... just knowing full production "soon" is very helpful.

Thank you!

How is this even remotely on topic? Now I have to sift through more pages of info that is not relevent to this thread.

On topic, I got info from my dealer that June 11 is also the date I maybe able to order a Laredo with the 18" wheel and radio group. Hoping this is true

I'd venture to say the June 11th ordering date could stick.. Some of you may not remember, but it was 6-8 months ago that I talked about Q3 CRD production in the features and changes thread.. With July being the beginning of Q3, from my predictions things are right on schedule!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Sorry but I've just gotta ask this old question again. If I frustrate anyone by bringing this up again...just ignore me.

Is Lux II required with CRD?

Everyone's been debating the cost vs value by using the "$4,000+-" up-charge for CRD (saying it's too much). But, if Lux II is mandatory it's actually closer to a $7,000 up-charge for that engine.

My dealer was able to build mine in the system without Lux II and quoted me as such. But...the fine-print on the quote states that any changes to manufacturer's required options will be added at time of order acceptance. If this happens, I'm looking at nearly $3,000 being added to final price. An equivilant build with gas V6 would save me $200/mo which would more than make up for the added fuel cost/consumption.

On the limited 4x4 which is what I think you are referring to.... Yes, Lux II is required with the Diesel.

Double check with your dealer that he gave you the right price

Yes Lux 2 is required on limited but check first post of this thread, you'll see 2 prices and I think info on the tie. I'm pretty sure I've read it in several other places too. Looks like there is 1000 discount off it when packaged with diesel I guess to help offset the bundle a little. I wanted all the things in lux2 so didn't factor in for me.
