Speaking of TV Ads - is it just my tired eyes or is the Summit on the TV Ads is now the Deep Aubrun Pearl and not the Deep Cherry Red?

I'm convinced this is a life lesson in patience, humility, and how to maintain a zen like calm while continually being flicked in the sack.

You are a more patient and tolerant zen than I..... I would be thinking about where to hide the body, that would be my meditation.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

The answers I'm getting from the dealers that told me we would be able to order on Tuesday are pretty entertaining:

One professes that it's the EPA cert still.
Three (!) are saying the production line at JNAP is the issue.
One has just taken to offering me "A great deal on V8!"
Two are still completely quiet.
The last guy said and I quote, "Jeep has it's head up it's ass and even with a flashlight and a map, they clearly have no idea how to get out."

So... I hear GM launched their diesels in their sedans without being a bunch of clueless f$#@tards... maybe time to go see what everyone else is doing again.

Drove a Cruze diesel yesterday.... it actually exists and is at dealers now. Little noisier than the Jetta but a really nice drive (no noise while driving just a little at idle). Very quick too.

Honesty and sarcasm, who could ask for anything more in a dealer.

Everything else being equal or close, I'd go with this guy.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

I flamed the guys that were blaming JNAP.

Pretty much called em clueless as I know the guys on the Production line, and they are the LAST people to have any blame over this fiasco.

It's some dipshit wearing a tie that's causing the issues.

100% agree. It is one top level nutbag convincing a whole bunch of other top level clueless buttplugs that delaying the product is in some way a good thing. It is too bad there isn't some way to prove to them how many sales they have lost because of this poor advertising.

It's frustrating, no doubt, but to be perfectly honest, I got really interested in the JGC when I heard about the diesel and I've since moved on to the V8 I'm currently driving. I don't know that I would have given Jeep a hard look were it not for the possiblity of the diesel coming. After reading more about the truck generally, I decided to buy one. The diesel got me interested but everything else is so awesome, I stayed.

Problem I see for Jeep is that it has definitely attracted some attention because of the Diesel but there appear to be a number of those people who are now just going elsewhere. I really like the Jeep too, driving a RAM this weekend but I think I still want the Jeep. Just that certainly people outside of this forum are likely WAY less tolerant of waiting for something thier dealer has no information on.... They just go buy a VW (as some users here have).

I can be very patient but only when treated with some respect and a little communication..... otherwise

Well you get the point.
