I agree. I was impressed with the blacked out one I saw in the showroom...third row seating isn't half bad either.

It May, unless the refresh does well. Hopefully FIAT doesn't GM us by having 3 or 4 vehicles exactly the same with different badges though... Wagoneer = Durango ???

Saw a link on my Facebook about Dodge brand not going away and stated that the Durango would be gone around 2017 as the Grand Wagoneer would be taking its place (and selling 2 to 3 times as well)... Maybe I can find the link...
Found it! Linked by LXForums on my wall... http://www.ontariostreetcar.com/2013...oing-anywhere/

I've now driven the MB GLK250, Audi Q5 and GC Summit while waiting in frustration for the CRD. I could probably be happy with any of these vehicles. The 250 is available now, I can order a Q5 TDI this Wednesday (expected delivery in September) or take one of the dealer's allocations expected in August or continue waiting for the CRD. I decided to sit down and put together a matrix of criteria, criteria weighting, and then scored each vehicle for each criteria, then multiplied the score times the weight for each criteria and added them up for each vehicle. And the winner is, drum roll please.... the GC Summit CRD with a score of 499, vs 471 for the Q5 TDI and 419 for the GLK250. So I'm going to try and wait a while longer and hopefully I can order a CRD in August as some are suggesting and still get it in October in time for my 60th birthday...

I kinda went through that in May but good to work through. You will be able to Order in August. It is possible orders may open in July but definitely ordering by August as the it appears production of the Diesel will happen in August.

Well yeah.

I didn't say 3.0 though, just "diesel".

Chances are they will put in a 1.8 or 2.0L diesel into the Dart and 200, maybe even the Wrangler. The 3.0 you would probably see in the 300 though.

As for the Durango, I'm rather confused why that one isn't rolling with a diesel option myself. I'd jump at one of those personally.

My gut kept telling me the GC was the right vehicle for me, but going through an objective process makes me feel more comfortable with the decision and helps take the roller coaster emotions out of it and makes the wait a bit easier as well.

Not sure who the tester is but this exact transmission basically makes up the fleet of European Diesel Power luxury vehicles. I cant see them putting a marginal transmission in the 7 Series BMW, besides every other Car they make!
Thank you, I need the encouragement. After listening to this guy for a few minutes he made me concerned.

This was only one man's opinion who I do not know. He was probably only privy to some information and I don't know what his benchmark was. I don't know what the tests entailed. He did say, during the tests, they pushed several transmissions to the point of failure.

I am still buying the car.

No, no, no, no, please no! The Wrangler needs the 3.0L and the 8-speed auto.
