Anyone who is interested in what this Tranny is all about should read this. The Tranny that comes with the 3.6 is based in the same area but made by Chrysler instead in case anyone got confused.
That's cool! I can tell you it feels like something special under part throttle acceleration as it snicks through the gears.

I actually haven't tried this on the new Jeep but the older ones you could do as Chivvalry suggests and hold the unlock and it will roll the windows down. I do it on my Durango a fair bit.
I like the grill with the projector headlamps but not the LED/HID!

You think that is cool, check the shift patterns available on that site. It can directly select gears in a kick down. You could be cruising in 8th and need to snap a little to change lanes on the highway and it can direct select 4th. That is crazy.

Absolutely! The great majority of Autos on the market today still cannot access as much of their gears directly as this thing can.

You know... Everyone always talks Cummins Diesel and legenday Motors... I know the Allison is a great unit but seriously this could be a really great transmission (knock on wood).

I know there were some members that have had some shifting issues (seems to be corrected by the "Limited" "negative lift") but I think the engineering that went into this thing is really solid.... And these guys know Transmissions

10yrsGone and/or MajorTom,
Can you please explain the 5% below invoice. I visited 4 local dealers to Pittsburgh and each one said they can't go lower than 1%. Thank you

Give up on Pittsburgh... I will be driving to DC to get my truck at 7% under invoice + $499 dealer fee. Go post on the DC group buy thread and ask for the contact information.

Here's the thread:

I saw a picture of JGC at Joe Ragland in Texas that was labeled pacific blue clearcoat. Is this actually accurate?

Thats True Blue. Pacific blue is not yet available-the image below may be it as it has yet to be confirmed by any of the JNAP crew. this is found in the 2014 JGC brochure.
