Does anyone have the correct link to the Ziegler website for warranty quote?

Nevertheless, whenever you look at comparables they never list the JGC with luxury vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc), they always list it among "affordable mid-size" SUVs. Personally, I think it compares very favorably against the luxury SUVs, especially at the Overland and Summit trim levels. I test drove the luxury competition while waiting for the CRD, made the comparisons myself, and I still like the JGC the best. The "award", however you may view it, is yet another in a long list that Jeep can use in their marketing.

I completely agree it compares very very well against the luxury SUVs in the Overland and Summit trims... hell, even a loaded limited trim is awesome. I've seen several reviews comparing the JGC to BMWs, VWs, Audis, Acura, even RR. It fairs more in the middle in those various review/shootout/comparisons, which considering the price point comparisons is HUGE and speaks to me much more than reviews comparing it to a Kia, Hyundai, etc...

You're right though... just another notch in the belt for the JGC and deservedly so.

Just priced the BMX X5 Diesel for fun and equiped it the same at the Summit (well pretty close). X5 Diesel was $73,375.00 and the JGC Summit Diesel was $56,990.00. I have driven the X5 and I just dont see the value in it, not to mention you can negotiate much lower than the list I have shown for the JGC, not so much on the BMW ... Not sure I would pay an extra $16000 + for side view camera.

Notch.

My Limited had a few options and they are right for me 20 inch wheels, 4x4, RA4 Uconnect radio system 8.4AN with Nav, and moonroof. These options were added to the 23H code

I did the same and chose to bail for the 2014 Acura MDX.

Last I knew you couldn't yet price the diesel 2014 X5 ...only the gas powered. That being said ... People have been reporting getting the 2013 diesel X5 for up to $15,000 off MSRP as they make room for the 2014 diesels which are set to arrive in February 2014.

Go price the new generation X5... basically adding 10k to the previous model.

Shhh, you almost don't want anyone to know before we get ours. Jeep will figure it out and raise the price. The JGC has a far better ride than the X5. It has the exact same suspension as both Mercedes SUVs. Thats because Mercedes designed them. And this is without the obvious superiority in off road capability.
In my opinion, at the Overland and Summit levels you are getting a luxury SUV. You just aren't getting the luxury price tag, yet. Throw in the gas mileage with the new diesel and our wait will be well worth it. In my area diesel is currently just 10 cents over the price of gas. Lowest in quite some time.

If you hit at 5 or better, you're definitely on the left end of the price curve. Depends on where you live and how far you are willing to travel to save a few hundred dollars.
As I said, it was better than the $1750 behind invoice that people were discussing being offered at Faircey sp? in Denver. Well on the left of the curve.
