Weathertecs are great but they have a hole where the hooks come through... the Husky's do not have that hole... they have a indent the hook matches up with but no hole.

Both are excellent mats.

Other than that, everything looks correct. I did have the same question about the increase in Overland and andvanced tech price but notices Milous's update.

JGC Overland 4x4 - 43,940
3.0 Diesel - 4,005
Engine Block Heater - 85
Advanced Tech Grp - 1,598
Destination 995
Total - 50,623[/ U]
Minus 7% - 3,543.61
SUBTOTAL = 47,079.39

Plus..
Sales Tax (.06+.0017)- 2,904.81
License / Registration - 168.50
Pocessing Fee - 499.00
Nice, but why are they charging you $500 for processing fee? I was work on getting that lowered unless they are giving you some freebies. The dealer I bought from in California only charged me $80 for processing fees.

Apparently its expensive to do business in DC. That is the fee they charge on all their car sales, so they say. I tried to get it lowered but they wouldn't. I don't really care because I got 7% below invoice, when the second best offer I received was 3% below invoice.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

If I have a VON, but I haven't been scheduled yet, can I make a change to the order? And if I do, is there any chance I'd affect the scheduling?

One of the dealers I had talked to basically convinced me I shouldn't bother adding the engine block heater (CRD), but after reading a few posts, particularly Milous' where he said adding it later can be problematic, I wanted to go ahead and add that in to my order.

But I don't want to do anything that might risk the scheduling ...

Yes, you can make changes to your order at this point.

Considering none of these orders are scheduled (in here) yet, nothing you do will affect your scheduling.

Until you reach D1 status, (ie. cars on the to-be-built-soon production list), you can reconfigure it however you want without issue. Once a car goes D1 it will almost always be built the way that order reads. Although I'm sure there are exceptions..

Now that I've got my CRD on order, hopefully delivery will be within a couple months. Question: Do you advise taking the new vehicle for a good test drive before accepting it from the dealer? I hear about problems that have existed since people first drive their new car home and some are never resolved (not just jeeps). Seems like a good idea to wring it out before accepting it from the dealer rather than drive home some problems. Thoughts?

I'm not sure why you wouldn't drive it first. Don't go to the dealer in a hurry.

I definitely plan to take a test drive (I'm still surprised I ordered a vehicle site unseen in the first place). I don't want the first time I see what the GC CRD is all about to be _after_ I fork over a 40k + check. My dealer has a Jeep test track too, and while it is wimpy I do plan to use it to check the low range and air suspension as well.

Take any vehicle on a good test drive before accepting it.

I can't explain the .17 figure. What's the dollar amour total?

Husky says to remove and not use the stock floor mat, can you still use them with the Weathertechs? I would like to have mats on top of the liners.

Personally, I have never been happy with non-OEM floor mats.

I am going with non-OEM wheels and rock rails though.

I love the middle part on the rear floor mat. These are nice and heavy and should make it easy to vacuum up the dog hair. They will be here on Thursday.
