I am one of those who shys away from Amsoil after seeing what the inside of engines look like after running Amsoil vs. other oils out there in the market. I personally will stick with one on thier list, or get my oil changed at the dealership (depending on what they will be charging for an oil change). Right now its $20 for my wife's jeep since we bought it there and are a "prefered customer" but there is no telling what it will be for the CRD cost wise, certainly not $20.
For the same oil my Volkswagen dealer's price was competitive. It was still $9.00 per liter. The more Low SAPS oil becomes commonplace the price will drop. That said, it has been 4 years since I bought my TDI and the price for the oil is steady. I am assuming they will be using pennzoil at Chrysler / Fiat, they use Castrol at VW.

Dual panel sunroof delete?

Let's say I wanted to go for the 5.7 limited and wanted the bixenon lights and other features of that particular package but am not a fan of the dual pane sunroof. Is there a provision to order the vehicle with deleting it to the single pain or no sunroof at all?

There is no delete capability for the roof. If a package requires it, it is there

Hmmm, that blows. Really don't like the PANA? Had it on my OS but it made me nervous. I'm wondering how it would hold up to golfball hail.

Don't know about that but I drove the original SRX with the super PAN, noisy and not reliable. The JGC one I have put through some serious pace testing it is a very solid unit. I would not have had one before, and am pleased about the unit that will be in mine.

I had the same concerns but came to the conclusion that, if the hail we severe enough to shatter the sunroof, I'd be looking at a windshield too, not to mention what it would do to the aluminum hood. Might as well get your money's worth out of that insurance policy at that point....

I guess a roof rack with some sort of mesh guard might work if I was really worried about it. Now how and where to store a retractable mesh guard. Where are the Aussies when you need them.

search out Snuke and AllyPally, they are both good Aussie Resources. Snuke may have an idea for you.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

If you have hail so big that it would damage the Pano glass, I think that would be the least of your problems. The remaining bodywork would most probably look like it had been pummelled by a shotgun.
I am certain the Pano glass is made of the same strength as the windshield, and therefore would not break, but simply crack like the windshield. Also, under that Pano glass, there is a sliding headliner, so when closed, you would not even know that you had a pano roof.

Good advice !
