It's more than just placement of the DEF lines. They recalled that and had that fixed. The issue is with the check engine light coming on and nobody knowing how to resolve it. My father and I both bought the 2014 CRD's and we both are having the same issue with the check engine light keep coming on for the DEF system.
My jeep is now in the shop for the 6th time for the same problem. Each time they replace something, check engine light goes out, and then comes on again in a day or two. They've replaces the DEF injector, UREA pump, catalaytic converter, did a software update, and not even sure what else. However it never solves the problem. From what I have been reading on this forum is that a lot of others are having the same problem. I'm now in the process of getting out of my Jeep. Would like get a newer model, but want to make sure they resolve all the DEF issues first.
