You can change your background color by changing your skin.
I think mine is set to dark blue which gives me a white background.

I think you're absolutely correct, and I guess I don't blame them for doing it. My dad used to buy all his new cars from one of his best friends, and he usually was only offered $100 over invoice. That was 15-20 years ago. Today everyone is negotiating based off something under invoice, so they have to up that pricing. Its just good business, I would do the same thing.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

Out of curiosity, what's the likelihood of Jeep offering incentives/rebates for the 2014s as soon as they hit lots / not long after? I know people in the past have said it's unlikely but I'm just curious if it's ever happened before. For example when the 2011s first came out, or when the 2012s/2013s first hit lots, etc.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

I have two questions:

1. I do not see any changes to the Overland Diesel 4x4 Sticker prices; are these the actual sticker prices (and invoice prices) of the cars that will be ordered now?

2. Is February 5th the actual day one can order a CRD in the U.S.?

Thank you for your time.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

My read is the M.S.R.P on the base 4 x 4 Overland jumps only 3.6% over the equivalent 2013 but the invoice increase is 6.1%! I thought 4% would be too high. Sure there are improvements to transmission, navigation and interior display but those are just improvements to areas of the vehicle that were inferior.

Generally they are only adding back the power tilt steering , adding power folding mirrors and and removing the flipper glass and expecting all that is worth another $2,599.

They just blew through the budget I had secured for my company car. Guessing I am going to have to wait until they rebate back that massive price increase or start shopping all over again.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

I know this was discussed somewhere but does anyone have that PDF that showed specific dates including when the media blockage will be released? I am curious when we will see reviews start coming out, specifically in regards to the CRD.

$45,495 was and is the price Milous listed for the Overland. It looks like pat added $995 to $45,995. So either Pat or Milous must have read it wrong.

Hopefully it was Pat.

The Canadian's (and Aussie) folks must be going nuts.

No pricing for them at all...

Milous's original MSRP on the Overland was $45,495.00, but that price did not include destination charge of $995.00. Final MSRP is $45,995.00, $500.00 higher than Milous's estimate. Add to that the $995.00 destination and you get Pat's MSRP (and final) number of $46,990.00 including destination charge.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

I think I'm not alone in being a little disappointed with final invoice pricing on these. Maybe it's time to take a second look at the 2013.
