How do you know when the cap is tight enough?

This might not be in the owner's manual ... use a small crow bar and a big sledge hammer. Use caution not to scratch the paint!

Use the sledge hammer referenced below. Same caution applies.

The wood is finished just as durably...they just haven't used a filler in the pores so it retains a natural texture.

Let's give Milous a couple hours to sleep.
I suppose I could have been a little more specific....in the Feature Availability PDF the Power Liftgate shows as optional for the Limited. IN the Standard Equipment PDF it shows as standard. Which one is more accurate? Since it is not listed as part of the Lux package I was hoping that it was standard (and when I posted that I was only looking at the Feature Availability chart).

I'm sure it is a work in progress. This is already the second edition. And, it says this in the beginning.

"This manual may also include a description of
features and equipment that are no longer available or were
not ordered on this vehicle. Please disregard any features
and equipment described in this manual that are not on this
vehicle."

I will be checking back again before my vehicle is delivered. The beauty of this digital stuff is that they can update without reprinting the entire book.

My apologies. I see that last year it was in the Luxury package.

It's after 11, Milous has had enough sleep by now.

Hey Temerarius - who are you working with in town? Everyone I've talked to has been clueless thus far. We should compare notes on prices - I'm leaning toward heading to Idaho like I did to buy my 05 Dodge, but I'm also pretty lazy.

I guess the nice thing about it (for those of us who haven't gotten a VIN or pre-schedule status yet at least ) is that all of the sold orders built this month and next month will be held in containment at least until the end of February, so I would think we'll all probably be getting them around roughly the same time anyway.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing

This may have been answered, but to get the Quadra-Drive II on the Overland, it lists no charge with AWY and EXF or EZH. Does that mean you need to have the OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE II (AWY) PLUS either the 3.0L V6 TURBO DIESEL ENGINE (EXF) or 5.7L V8 MDS VVT ENGINE (EZH) for a no charge, otherwise its still $795 if you get an overland diesel without the off-road adventure II?

QUADRA-DRIVE II 4WD SYSTEM (AWB) (requires 27P) [MSRP $795 / INV. $ 708] with AWY and EXF or EZH: (no charge)
