2014 Grand Cherokee Overland Leftover

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland at Don Franklin Auto in Liberty, KY

What would be a good price to pay for this 2014 left over?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland Leftover

How many miles? Has it been used as a demonstrator or customer service car? There is a huge difference between "New" and unregistered.

I bought a Jeep for my daughter under the same circumstances. List $29,500 Paid $19,500 with 20 miles on the odometer. Not to say you can get a third off, but I wouldn't even think of paying over $40K and that is if it has no miles. If it has miles, then I wouldn't touch it.

Paul

EDIT

What is the build date?

Couple hundred miles, under 300 if I'm not mistaken.

A demo or customer service car is still treated as a new vehicle as far as the factory warranty goes. Whatever miles are on the vehicle doesn't count against the warranty.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland Leftover

If it has little to no miles on It then sure go for it. If it has a few hundred then I would absolutely pass. Reason being is it's probably been on 400 test drives.
I just bought a 4/14 built new Summit last month with 19 miles on it. It's as new and perfect as they come. No regrets on the purchase.
Not sure about an Overland, but as an example I paid 47 for my '14 Summit V8 with a 55.8 MSRP.

How were you able to get nearly 9k off MSRP? Was it solely because it was a leftover '14 or were there other factors involved? Im in the market for an Overland and if I could use your method to save 9k id be incredibly happy.

I would also recommend talking to Internet sales manager or fleet manager... Avoid salespeople. Sorry sales folks!

They are offering 6,000 off. That doesn't seem like that good of a deal considering I can find 2015's for 3850.00 off.

Given a couple of hundred miles, I wouldn't touch it for a dollar over 40K. The car is already a year old and has likely had a lot of people climb in and out.

Here is a 2015 overland 4x4 for 42K after $4890 discount and $500 factory rebate. Print out the page and show it to them.

To be honest I'm not sure. I didn't even really do all that much negotiating. I think the Internet price on their website wasnt all that much higher than $47k. I think it really was all just because they wanted the remaining 2014 gone. There were only a couple other '14 Summit V8's remaining in the area and they had some decent miles racked up on them and for the same price of the one I bought with basically no miles. Plus the others had black interior which I didn't want. I haven't searched recently but I would imagine it's getting very difficult to find a new 2014. When I say new I mean less than 20 miles.
