Supposedly it's late availabilty. I believe the 13 came with a roof and HID's that are now in thw $3k Lux Group.
I've been adding numbers and I don't get how the Overland is $4k more than a similarly equipped Limited. All I want is leather, NAV(or capable of later), HID's, Pano roof, 20's, and probably the V6. The only things different that I know of is I won't get the nicer leather and painted rocker trim, Quadra-Lift, heated and telescoptic wheel. I think this is why Lux Group camt be ordered.. they arw forcing us into Overlands!
No pano or HIDs? That sucks. A pano on these things is awesome. And after driving with HIDs for the past 2 years, I have a very hard time driving my wife's CRV with incandescent lights.
Just found it, I can't see dark purple on black very well. Besides the marketeers may say not in Laredo for now but suspect that will change probably before orderable. $4.5k option is about what I expected, thet urea is expensive.
Interesting to see those numbers thanks for sharing. It would be nice to list MSRP, invoice and hold back. Pretty much everyone can join tread lightly and get the vehicle for below invoice so to 99% of us MSRP doesn't really matter.
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland w/Hemi
2006 Mitsubishi Evolution 9 - Highly Modified Built Time Attack Car - DYNO (PUMP/E85)
It's just too much of a price increase for me. I have a 2012 Overland and had hoped that I would love the 2014. I like the electronics upgrades but I just don't care for the new front end. And a $3000 price increase over a 2012? I can't justify 47K for an Overland, or any vehicle, if I'm not crazy about it. I think they've lost the classic Jeep toughness with this redesign. I love my Grand Cherokee and I loved my Wrangler that I had before that. But, I'll be moving on with my next vehicle.
