What would the tint percent be in the rear windows, cargo door? 15%? 20%?
What I did to quiet down the flapping flap was bought some heavy duty Velcro strips. I only used the stiffer side with the little plastic hooks not the softer side. cut a few small sections of it 3 for the left side flap and 2 for the right side flap. pressed them onto the top corner edges and one in the top center on the left side of the flaps. the Velcro hooks grab that material or carpet or what ever it is on the back side of the seats and hold it almost as if it was the other part of the Velcro, anyway it holds the flaps fine and enough that they don't flap. if you ever need to put the seats down flat the Velcro just pulls away like Velcro does seems to work. so I think I am rattle free for now.

Here is where Velcro was placed to stop the rattling flapper

That cargo area sunshade can cause some also, that thing was more of a nuisance then it was worth, always in the way every time I wanted to put the seats down. and what's it do? partially covers what is in the back? windows already are tinted dark not much to see anyway. I relocated that pos thing to the corner of the garage.

I left that cargo cover in the vehicle for about a month. It almost always got in the way when placing something back there, so I removed it and like yours, its sitting in a corner of the garage.

I should put it in the classifieds.

Thanks. I guess I will be off to Home Depot for those heavy duty ones. I am still quite amazed at all the rattles that this car actually has.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Seat Rattle

I thought this was culprit in my 2015 Altitude, but when I pulled back of seat off it has to metal spring loaded tabs putting pressure on the plastic piece. I couldn't get my to rattle, looks like they attended to this on the 2015. So I
still trying to figure mine out, I swear the creak rattle what ever you call it is coming from left door pillar.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Seat Rattle

so here is one more rattle point. if you tap the power sunshade at the rear when its closed it sounds like marbles rolling around. well no marbles but what it is is the sunshade material hitting the flat piece of plastic located where the sunshade recedes into the headliner. I placed a 3 foot piece of the soft side of Velcro tape on that plastic to break up that slapping motion of the sunshade on the plastic that happens going over bumps. easy fix for a weird noise point. sorry no pictures on this one to hard to see
