I actually started this thread about the side moldings. My impressions of the running boards are as follows: They are supported by 3 brackets and are plenty wide and strong enough to stand on (I'm 235lbs) In all honestly I don't use them. I'm 6'0 and I find myself lifting my right leg over them. For me it's actually more awkward getting in the vehicle because they stick out. Also the bottom of your left pant leg will rub against the edge when entering the vehicle, so if the edge of the boards are dirty your pants will get dirty also. I really purchased them for looks and am very happy with the way they look on the Jeep. Just an observation, if your parked next to a car that sits low there door may hit the board before hitting your door.

I have the same exact ones and although I bought them for the kids, I've learned that when I park my car and put it into off road 1 height or off road 2, most car doors will hit the boards versus my doors - dual purpose for me
