Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee spy pictures

I'm sure a skilled designer with Photoshop can break down the camo and render the new front, but from what I see so far, I'm not too impressed with the face lift. Come to think of it, I tend to favor first gen designs over face lifts in most cases.

For this car, I don't like the bottom portion of the bumper around the lower grill bulging out. To me, it makes the car look too heavy, and less sporty.

I do like the new fin style antenna on top of the roof. It looks less organic than the aftermarket shark fin, and it also looks smaller. I hope this is something I can get from MOPAR as accessery down the road.

I tend to agree... if you look at the 2005 VW Touareg vs. 2012 model you'll see the same metamorphous.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee spy pictures

I don't have any issues with the current WK2-design - it's the combination of new features and technology on the MY2014 that will make the difference.

You're probably right. I just thought there could be something because this area spreads out underneath two different camo-covers.

It wouldn't be the best location for the LEDs in the first place. I'd really like to see something integrated into the headlight-unit rather than a copy of the SRT8-version.

Milous already confirmed long ago that it will have LED tailights. These spy pictures are NOT a fully assembled 2014 model.

My 2012 doesn't have any of those problems.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee spy pictures

My 2012 doesn't have those problems either. You should be able to adjust how tight or loose the glovebox closes (at least I did that to fix a similar problem in my '05 Grand Cherokee Limited).

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee spy pictures

Looks like there is less of a lip in front of the grille and it is raked a bit more. If flush they may be turning it into a bottom breather for better aerodynamics. cdA could use an assist.

Just joined yesterday, still catching up on things.
Any word if the LED tail lights will swap into 2011/2012 models?

Welcome. Not known yet if the 2014 LEDs will work in the 2011/2012s.
