Re: 2014 jcc overland adventure pack 2

I hope you also figured out that Quadra Drive is only for V8 and Diesel engines, and that Quadra trac 2 is part of Quadra drive, which adds a better rear differential. And that Quadra Trac II will realistically get any Grand Cherokee owner off-roaring their car to just about everywhere a Quadra Drive - equipped rig would. And that there is no on-asphalt difference in how they drive.

Re: 2014 jcc overland adventure pack 2

I ordered an Overland Diesel in Canada without ORII pkge. Wanted the 20's instead of the 18's. The only thing the dealer could figure out that would be missing would be some skid plates and a trail rated badge but they were less expensive to buy than a new set of rims.

Re: 2014 jcc overland adventure pack 2

Reginajeep,
In doing allot of research from the information the other members comments above have lead me to, I have found that the Off Road Pack is allot more than just wheels, skid plates and badge, it changes and or adds the following.
Off-Road Adventure II
  • 18-Inch x 8-Inch Polished Aluminum Wheels
  • Front Suspension Skid Plate
  • Fuel Tank Skid Plate Shield
  • The fuel tank skid plate shield helps protect your fuel tank from rocks and on-road debris.
  • P265/60R18 BSW All Season On/Off-Road Tires
  • Skid Plate Group
  • "Trail Rated" Badge
  • Transfer Case Skid Plate Shield
  • Underbody Skid Plate
  • Quadra-Drive II® 4WD System (Unavailable with some configurations)
  • The Quadra-Drive II® 4WD system provides advanced control and capability. It includes an active full-time transfer case with an electronically controlled clutch pack and axles with electronic limited-slip differentials for quick response. With the diesel nearly all of that is included. I will find out soon enough as it is in the rail yard today. Should be getting it in a day or two.
