Hopefully it is not one of us. Anger management aside, this is just bad driving...

Angry Man Stuck in Snow - YouTube

Great to see that there were no billowing clouds of smoke coming from under the Jeep, the transmission never gave up and the wheels never quit spinning...

Greetings,

Ok, yes after 5 minutes of laughing after watching this, I still laughing.

Nice Rims, but, bad tires and/or bad snow driving? That is the question of the day.

Great plug for Nokian tires here. Or add your brand to plug in.

Best for now.:)

Hey this thing I'm doing, revving the crap out off it, it's not working, let me do it some more.

As mentioned in last post, just not what this guy did. Once wheels are spinning there's not much happening.

Snow looked impressively deep under the car and looked beached, he must have parked it on top surely.

clear some snow, back up, cler some snow, move forward slow in your tracks, build momentum. rinse, repeat.

Reading the comments i just saw that his phone drops out of his jacket pocket at 1:30, then driven over time and time again.

I knew he was set for failure from the angle of his steering (hard left). Snow probably melted just enough to create a massive block of ice/wet snow between his tires. He should have reversed and used someone else's tracks behind him, or rock the car back and forth. He could have reversed and cleared a bit of snow in front of his front wheels using the snow scraper, perhaps air down a bit; anything would have been better than accelerating forward like an orangutang.

Greetings,

This is the best thing to do, back in forth motion (rocking).

Also, if you noticed, he turns the wheel to the max. It is best to turn in small amounts until you get traction. By turning the wheel as he did, the tire is now a plow pushing the snow and given resistance from getting the proper traction in order to get out.

You will notice after he leaves, the right side shows were he developed the real trouble. That is because he plowed himself in. Even though on the video, you see the left tires spin most likely on the black ice patch caused by him. By rocking and small turns of the wheel, you can use the snow to your advantage to gain traction.

Best for now.:)

At first I thought, what a dumb ars, doesn't he know how to drive in snow? Then I looked at the wheels and tires and thought, how do you like those Latitudes?

I wonder if he even put it into Snow mode. The Latitudes suck, but Snow mode, and a little throttle, not the stupid amount he was doing would have gone a long way.

He was clearly fighting gravity too while attempting to gain traction. He could've very easily reversed out. What a dumb ass. :slapfight:

O.K. maybe I shouldn't have used those words...:D

Just kidding, it wasn't me. Throughout the laughter while watching, I was glad to see that at least all the wheels were turning. This video would have serious Jeep brand damage if only the front wheels turned.

Looks like Jeep should include a "how to..." DVD with a new Jeep purchase...for some

This happened to my wife in our driveway. I had to come home and rescue her. She even had it in snow mode and we have winter tires. Problem was traction and stability control. Also the snow was very mealy from the prior days freezing ice pellets. After I turned off the nannies the jeep drove out with no issues. With nannies on the jeep just wanted to crab sideways.
