Which is why I bought an Overland. I really wanted the QL and love it. I went off road with it, and it proved to be very capable.

So for me, they should have started with an overland and give it some more off-road Appeal for the trail hawk concept :-)

I usually tell people it's equipped like an overland but with better tires

Been a few months - Any update from the line? Holding off buying a new one until I know if a Trailhawk 2 is in the works....

I'm in the same boat as jcarone. At this point it is OK if they don't build one - I'll build my own. Just don't leave us hanging any longer!

Count me as another trying to wait for information before making a purchase. Unfortunately, time is becoming a factor and it's looking like I'll have to go in a different direction.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

Well the 2015 model year is coming up this summer, any news on if the Trailhawk will pop up? Seeing as how there is a Trailhawk model for the KL and the new BU, shouldn't the wk2 have one too? (Especially considering the concept was shown almost a year ago?)

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

I don't think we will be seeing a WK2 TH until Jeep is willing to put a CRD into a Laredo. As previously posted, you can make your own "TH" with a Limited or Overland. I see the WK2 TH as a "less is more" option. CRD minus Pano, ACC, power lift-gate, etc. And releasing a WK2 TH with all the bells and whistles, or without the CRD option would be a huge disappoint to offroad enthusiasts.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

I like the idea of the GC TH but yeah at mid $40k why not get the GC overland? TH is a niche vehicle and it didn't really have enough attractive appeareance changes. They did a better job of making the new KL Cherokee TH significantly different from the other versions.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

I laughed at that as well but I wasn't commenting on the appeal of the design just that it is functionally different from the other models as opposed to the way the GC has been handled.
