Will it be equipped like the Blood Orange monster that participated in the Jeep Safari?

This is a great vehicle. Great transmission mated with a lot of torque with the CRD and, if the demo holds, nice big grippy tires for offroad. I have a 2012 JKU Rubicon that is heavily modded and that I've take over the Rubicon Grail with my daughter.

But I'd buy this vehicle in a heartbeat and take it offroad. Maybe not the Rubicon, but Moab or sandy / muddy roads vice car eating rock trails.

I hate to hear folks assume that it will be watered down to smaller tires and less capability though. The marketing pursuit of the daily driver and soccer mom vehicle can be pitched at the Laredo or non-ORAII Limited. Let the Overland or TrailhawkII be an extreme vehicle like the SRT.

There was little compromise on the race characteristics of the SRT, so why should we assume that this year's Trailhawk has to be as limited as earlier versions?

Lets ask for and hope for the best.

Top notch rockrails (not the wimpy ones on the Rubicon, but the nice ones from MOPAR shown at Moab). Top notch ground clearance. Improved (thicker and sturdier) underarmor. Better approach / departure angles. Towhooks in the rear, not just the front. And a standard factory lift.

Let's get a powerful niche vehicle that appeals to enough offroaders just like the SRT appeals to a small but specific market. Not for everybody, but enough for Jeep to make money and for us to have great fun for our money without tons of aftermarket expenditures.

No compromise!

I'm in a no way an off roading type of guy, but this version of the Trailhawk is way better than the 13 version. The one shown and used a demonstrator at Moab is FULLY what the Trailhawk should be for the guys who love to off-road. Lets hope this stays true to production. Cheers to you Off-roaders.
