Interestingly, the Summit shows body colored lower trim on all colors. It's a shame because it makes the grey lower look like crap in comparrison. Maybe they'll make the change going forward?

Agreed. Good thing I'm happy with my 2012, although I'll be adding lower body color parts. I hope they fix the color on the lower trim for everyone getting a Summit.
GCOverland are you sure about the trail rated badge being put on the Summit when it's ordered 4x4? I've asked this question on other threads and no one said anything or seem to know. I've looked on line and seen videos and I've read the big and small 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee books and I have yet to notice one that had it.
No billet silver for exterior color selection! I know that's not available yet, but some other items listed aren't either. Oh well, the build & price seems to have several glitches.
I'm guessing they're still working on it since there's no direct link from the Jeep site itself. You can get there by changing the year in the address bar. Same thing for the 2014 Compass.
The color combos are all off. This is what they show for the Overland, the lower trim is black and the entire grille is chrome (or silver, can't really tell).
personally I like the way that shows the Overland with the partial painted front valance, and the silver grille. I also like the body colored grille with chrome rings...
I really want to have faith in that they will get this right. I have owned numerous new jeeps, dodges, and fords. I am also a big diesel fan. Unfortunately have ran out and bought latest model ford diesels only to get to know everyone in the service department by first name. When you have new tranny and new engine? So I keep a skeptic view of this launch.
Personally I am driving 500 miles a week over mountain passes and diesel is only option for me.
