Ya, we're getting the V6. Fuel economy is an issue for us. My thought for not getting the sunroof was the same as yours; it's just another thing to go wrong. But then again if we used that theory all the time we'd just get a Kia or something. We'll do nothing but casual off roading so I'm good without QL. But for some reason I like having the trail rated badge and the two hooks. I'm curious to know what the skid plates do to weight on an already heavy vehicle.

What's the difference between the two radios, one with and one without the 'N' designation? Is it just the nav? We weren't going to get the nav, just because we mainly use our phones anyway (I know, I know, safe driving debates can be spared), and Im really not impressed with the nav on my TL. It never searches for what I'm actually looking for.

Re: 2014 Limited Delivered

It's more than just the nav - for example, RA4 has HD radio which the RA3 doesn't. Here's a good comparison of the two: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - 2014 model year radios. It's $356.00 more (based on invoice pricing) to get the RA4; if you plan on keeping your Limited a while I think it's a good upgrade.

I like the badge too - just a little bling that sets mine apart from some other GCs! Even if you only do casual off roading I think the skid plates are a wise investment. I live where it snows often in winter; I like having them there to protect my vulnerable underside bits from the occasional snow plow pile I might have to drive over to get to a side street; up a driveway; etc. They of course add weight to the vehicle, but I had the choice to get a Honda Fit instead of a GC and chose not to. I like having the tow hooks also - haven't had to use them on my GC yet, but I have on just about every vehicle I've owned in the past that had them so I just liking knowing they're there.

Our 2014 Limited with V6 has 8.4AN, Tow IV, 20s (which look great but can be omitted for budget reasons) and Luxury II. One of my wife's favorite features is the sunroof! She also likes the leather heated / ventilated seats. I vote Lux II for you if you can afford it.

Id love the lux II but I doubt that's going to happen. I think we decided on 4X4 limited, max steel (any and all comments on the color choices are welcome!), beige interior, tow group, and I think I talked her into ORA I. More like she got sick of me talking about it. Lol. I do like the sunroof when I use it, but she isn't a huge fan and realistically I don't use it all that often anyway.

I actually got it for the HD Radio. Not knowing it also gives you the Backup Camera !!

You get Nav. HD Radio. Backup Camera. And built in Cell (which adds a bunch of features). All for about the same cost of adding Nav to a 8.4A.

You don't get the backup camera if you don't get the RA4? I thought the backup camera was standard with the limited. I'll just have to clarify everything with the dealer.

The HD radio is great if your favorite station offers the signal. Sounds so much better than satellite. I got the Lux II because I wanted HID headlights and the LED daytime running lights. I appreciate the softer leather and wanted a sunroof anyway.
