2014 Overland - Disabling Auto-dimming mirrors?

Is there a way to disable the auto dimming mirrors on the 2014's? Can't find a setting anywhere in the nav unit, and can't find it in the manual either. Just not a fan of it...feels like It makes things way too dark. Plus I plan to tint the front windows. Any help is appreciated!

Not sure but i know on a different csr i had, if you turn off the auto dim on the rearview mirror then it would turn off the auto dim on the side mirrors too. That is, assuming there is a button to turn off the rearview autodim, never really paid attention to it.

Thanks. Yeah that's the thing though, I can't find any button on the rear view?? Don't think the manual mentions any buttons either.

What my wifes '11 looks like. Just an on/off button.

Guessing the 14's have 2 buttons, 1 that says assist and the other....911?

Thanks for the pic. I'm stumped though...don't see an on/off button on the 14's.

Re: 2014 Overland - Disabling Auto-dimming mirrors?

Hit the assist button. Tell them you want your mirrors to stop dimming.

Not sure if this has been addressed but...

On the Uconnect, in the controls tab (where seat ventilation is located), there is a button that says Mirror Dimming.
If it's blue, it's on. This will affect the rear view and side mirrors.
I tested it with a flashlight.

This feature was not there on early builds, but was added with one of the uConnect updates. If you can't find the button, make sure your software is up to date. The button is top - center of the screen and even has a picture of a mirror.
