Re: 2014 Overland good deal???
I have a question about pricing as I work through all the information on this AWESOME site! I see there's a group buy for the DC Metro Area that offers 7% off invoice. I'm in the Baltimore area and there's a dealer in Owings Mills that has a 2014 Overland with an MSRP (window sticker) of $52,375. Then, they advertise an internet price of $46,053 for a discount of $6,322. Using the invoice pricing from the sticky pricing thread, I'm calculating that they're advertising 7% below invoice. I would assume that this is where I would start negotiating and try to get it for even less, or, if there's no wiggle room on this advertised price, I'd really press to get more for my trade-in.
Am I missing something here or does this seem like an incredible deal from what others are posting about pricing? Thoughts on this are appreciated.
FWIW, I've only been driving my current vehicle for about 10 months, so I need another year to build up some equity to trade. Hopefully, by that time, the Ecodiesels will be readily available!
