2014 Overland good deal???

Looking to pick up a 14 Overland. I searched the sticky above on pricing but didn't really find too much.

14 Granite on black Overland 4x4 V6 no options: 42,000 + TTL

Can I do better or good deal? TIA.

If that's 6% below invoice I would jump all over that as long as it's the truck/model you want.

If it is 6% under, then it is a great deal. Just make sure the numbers before you sign on the line.

Re: 2014 Overland good deal???

I have a question about pricing as I work through all the information on this AWESOME site! I see there's a group buy for the DC Metro Area that offers 7% off invoice. I'm in the Baltimore area and there's a dealer in Owings Mills that has a 2014 Overland with an MSRP (window sticker) of $52,375. Then, they advertise an internet price of $46,053 for a discount of $6,322. Using the invoice pricing from the sticky pricing thread, I'm calculating that they're advertising 7% below invoice. I would assume that this is where I would start negotiating and try to get it for even less, or, if there's no wiggle room on this advertised price, I'd really press to get more for my trade-in.

Am I missing something here or does this seem like an incredible deal from what others are posting about pricing? Thoughts on this are appreciated.

FWIW, I've only been driving my current vehicle for about 10 months, so I need another year to build up some equity to trade. Hopefully, by that time, the Ecodiesels will be readily available!

You are spot on. Don White and Heritage did that with their internet pricing when I was shopping for my 2012 Overland. I tried to do a deal with them over the phone, and they couldn't get down to the price point I wanted or even the one they advertised online. After phone discussions with many dealers, I went into Koons and Criswell. Koons in Tysons Corner actually couldn't get down to the price Criswell offered, so I bought my Jeep from Criswell in Gaithersburg, MD for $41,000 out the door, including TTL, in November 2011. So my advice, is if you can get that price in writing, then go to other dealers to ask if they can beat it. For me, I was only satisfied when I felt like I got the best possible deal at that time. But your price seems great!
