2014 Overland Review

I have owned my 2014 Overland for four months and 6000 trouble free miles now. So far only dealer visit was for an oil change and computer update. The only addition to the way it came from the factory is o.e.m. rubber cargo mat. I can't find any thing else I would want to change. In eco mode I have observed 24.2 mpg highway mileage. In sport mode the 3.6 V-6 feels more powerful than the prior generation Grand Cherokee V8 I owned. It tows my 3500 pound capacity utility trailer effortlessly. I have yet to experience winter conditions or off road with it, but the full time 4x4 system has been sure footed in some heavy rain storms. I have been reading this forum since before purchasing my Jeep last May and I seem to be in a small minority of owners who have been completely satisified with their ownership experiennce. This is surprising for what I thought to be an enthusiest forum. So since I have no complaints and have found little useful information here I bid you all goodbye and good luck with your Jeep problems.

Re: 2014 Overland Review

I also have a 2014 Overland with about 10,000 miles now that I have owned for 14 months. I too have had zero problems with mine and I am completely satisfied with it. I think more folks post on this site when they have problems than those who don't. Al

Re: 2014 Overland Review

Have you been exploring all the various sub-forums on here? Some are devoted exclusively to fawning over our vehicles and fantasizing about what to do with them next.

I have absolutely no issues either, but I've only had the car for 2,800 miles.

Re: 2014 Overland Review

I've got my fingers crossed that my 2015 will not have any problems any time soon. I'm off to a good start, considering the fact that I haven't picked it up yet. Day one starts this Friday.

Did you folks read Grandpa's post completely? I feel this is a bogus post, probably an Explorer owner.

You lucky slugger you...congrats.

I too am a satisfied owner in these last 3 months of ownership. New to Jeep world and first jeep ever and so far only issue i had was the black molding between driver and rear pass. door. Other than that this beauty is enjoyable every time i drive!

Nope not bogus, definitely not a Ford owner, or a whiner. Just thought it was time someone spoke up for the satisified owners.

That was the shortest goodbye I've seen in some time, unless it is the dramatic goodbye to be followed up by continual goodbyes, but still sticking around to see if the ants are swarming out of the hill.

Seriously, you might consider sticking around, and even more seriously thinking about this question, if you are married:

Who is your harshest critic?

Your wife who is also the love of your life?

Some random barfly?

Re: 2014 Overland Review

Another satisfied owner here also.....I bought a 2014 Loredo E in February....I liked it so much, I just traded it for a 2014 Overland with all the bells and whistles....judging from many of the griping posts here, I would say that most complainers have problems with their dealerships, which usually compound some minor problem with the GC....dealer incompetence is often the norm...it's a shame they know so little about the vehicles they sell
