I wasn't being sarcastic.

Sorry if I came off being hard on you. I assumed pretty much all informed people (and I include members of this forum as being informed) knew the point of LED brakelights was to warn following drivers a little sooner of braking. To me, they've always been a safety item; not a "looks cool" item.

I do get where you're coming from. I'm no fan of following behind a Euro car with rear fog light on. Blindingly distracting, and how often is the fog thick enough so the car behind you can't see your tailights?

I have a 2011 in Dark Charcoal Pearl. The Granite in your pics sure looks like the same color. Was the name just changed or is it really different than DCP?

Not everybody agrees with what you assumed most informed people know. Maybe Jeep made a safety, and not a dollar, decision when they chose the brake lights.

I kind of asked the same question in another thread. Someone said the Granite was slightly lighter than the Dark Charcoal.

Anyone care to comment on how the granite looks in person? How it looks in sunlight vs cloudy day? If the photos accurately depict it? Thanks!

Does the 2014 V6 come with dual exhaust? Kind of looks like it in your pictures.

I've only seen the Granite on a cloudy day but it was much too dark for me. It was much darker than the Graphite Viper in my signature.

Good luck to anyone who needs to replace a light cluster because one/some of the LEDs died or malfunctioned. Anyone that thinks these things last forever only need to look at the aforementioned 90s Cadillac or other vehicle with LEDs that don't work and it looks like crap.

Can't really run down to the local Pep Boys/etc for a $2 bulb anymore with LED arrays everywhere.

it's going to suck for car collectors/restorers in the future because of these things since most/all the boards are proprietary to the model they are installed in, vs standard 1156 and other replacement bulbs.

I was looking through what's covered in the Chrysler extended warranty and none of the lamps are listed. However, the instrument cluster appeared to be.

Are those wheels polished or painted a color similar to the granite of the body?
