Just feels like they put a bunch of effort into the exterior to rope us in, and then just gave up once they got inside. Ha
I hear ya, but then again isn't the High Altitude package only like $2995 or something? Pretty cheap really. I'm sure Jeep would have loved to throw all the above mentioned things in an HA (SRT wheel and seats, suede headliner etc), but now our 2900 dollar package now costs $6000. I I think they do their homework and most likely determined that the package just wouldn't sell if it cost much more than it does. People wanted the Altitude look based off the higher trim package and they delivered us just that! Overall I'm very happy. Plus whats cool is if these are changes someone wanted to do anything can be done. Its all on ebay right now. Want a wood Overland steering wheel? there are like 4 on ebay right now, 2016 SRT seats...yup, belioeve it or not you can get near new 2016 SRT seats for only a grand right now.

All fair points, and yes I did find Overland Summit and SRT seats on ebay all for pretty cheap...but to your earlier point, seems like more work than its worth, especially considering my seats are brand new.

Also don't get me wrong, I LOVE this vehicle. Just a few things I'd have done differently, and they're all personal preference.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Looking for opinions. I had some left over gloss black vinyl wrap and I wrapped the rear tail light bezels. Do you guys prefer the original trivalent black chrome, or the gloss black?
Reason I tried the gloss black is because I felt that after getting the window trim wrapped along with all the other gloss black on the HA that the trivalent bezels would look better in gloss black. It's minor, and easy enough to peel off, but I like it. I removed the bezels to install the wrap and it turned out perfect. Looks identical to the OEM ones.

Black wood steering wheel

If you want a wheel with white stitching, there are a lot of used ones on ebay. The ones with black stitching are harder to come by.
It may sound cheap, but there are plenty of steering wheel covers you can buy for like $10 with any stitching pattern you can imagine, if a different stitch color is all you want....

I had a bad experience with my 2004 Limited where the leather steering wheel eventually started to melt/wear away. Bought a nice perforated white stitch cover for my 15 Limited to match the interior white stitch that I loved. Actually gave the wheel a meatier feel since with was now thicker.

I like the tri-chrome look better. The black makes it blend in and not as noticeable if that is the look you are going for. Good job wrapping though it looks seamless.

20 Gorilla EX Large Seat Factory Stock Wheels Lug Nuts 14x1 5 Acorn Rims Black | eBay

I messaged him prior to purchase and he said the lowest price he will accept for the buy it now is $60.00.
They are on "sale" today, so I tried to offer a price of 57, but I guess 60 is still his minimum... not sure what the point of the "sale" is then.

Edit: I tried 59 and it worked.
