Reason I tried the gloss black is because I felt that after getting the window trim wrapped along with all the other gloss black on the HA that the trivalent bezels would look better in gloss black. It's minor, and easy enough to peel off, but I like it. I removed the bezels to install the wrap and it turned out perfect. Looks identical to the OEM ones.

I think it looks great. I got rid of all the trivalent trim on my Jeep and love it. On black, it just looks tacky.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I moved to FL to fix the heated seats issue but just noticed if I turn the cooled seats on high and stop somewhere when I get back and start her up she defaults to low. Not a big deal but is this the same for others?

Yes - also the AC will kick off. Should be great in the TX summer over here... They need to fix the stop/start thing and add a setting to set/delay when it comes on (like 5sec, 15sec, 30sec, etc.)

That is the Auto On Comfort Setting.
As stated in the owner's manual:

Auto-On Comfort — If Equipped
After pressing the “Auto-On Comfort” button on the
touchscreen the following settings will be available:
• Auto-On Driver Heated/Ventilated Seat & Steering
Wheel With Vehicle Start — If Equipped
When this feature is selected the driver’s heated seat will
automatically turn on when temperatures are below 40° F
(4.4° C). When temperatures are above 80° F (26.7° C) the
driver vented seat will turn on. To make your selection,
press the “Auto-On Driver Heated/Ventilated Seat &
Steering Wheel With Vehicle Start” button on the touchscreen,
then select either “Off,” “Remote Start” or “All
Starts” until a check-mark appears next to setting, showing
that setting has been selected. Press the back arrow/
Done button on the touchscreen to return to the previous
menu.

It always selects low for the driver ventilated seat. The passenger seat does not automatically turn on....Of course, that depends upon who is sitting in the passenger seat! (lol)

I wish it would select high like the seat heaters. Strange the ventilated seats start on low and the seat heaters start on high.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Yeah the low ventilated seat setting is annoying, because then you just gotta go in and manually select HI everytime. I actually went into my settings and changed auto comfort to remote start only. Not only because the vented seat low setting, but because I found myself pressing the buttons myself on the opening screen after you start, only for auto comfort to turn it off on its own. Then 5 minutes into my drive in like why is my seat not on. It's easier to just select it myself on normal non-remote starts.

IMG_4133.JPGHere's my Baby. A 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Diesel 4x4 in Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl. Looking to swap out the tires for some BFG KO2's and add some RRO skid plates and Shields Productions skid plates also a set of RRO Supersliders. Would love to put tow hoods on but that might take some modification.

I'd love to hear how you like the RRO supersliders. I planned to get them as well but now I'm leaning towards the Mopar sliders. I just put some Nitto Terra Grappler G2 275/55R20s on mine and they are fabulous. Look great, don't scrape (absolute max size with quadralift) and are pretty quiet.

That's good to hear that you have Nitto Terra Grappler G2 275/55R20s on. Those or the BFG KO2's are my choice. When I move forward I'll let you know.
