The lightest color, I think it's called "Tint" - didn't want to go too dark

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

As stated above, the uConnect update is simple DIY, following the step by step on the uConnect site. Although I'm in south Florida, I want the heated seat update once I'm relatively certain it works. I'd like everything to be up to date and right, even if I don't use a feature. Otherwise, I am still totally satisfied with my first, and probably not my last Jeep. Now, if only we could get Apple Car Play I would really be happy!

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Windshield Tinting: A couple of weeks ago I had my windshield tinted with Llumar Air Blue 80. Barely tinted but it's supposed to magically block 99% UV and about 50% heat. With the recent heat and humidity here in S. Florida, I think it's actually working. I think it is also helping with day and night glare. I don't think it hurting the rain sensing wipers or auto high beams since it is cut around all the sensors behind the rear view mirror. And, as promised, no problem with my community gate transponder or my toll pass transponder. They charged me $100. If my initial assessment is right, I don't mind the cost. Otherwise, I'll be spending more to have it removed.

As far as the heated seat update I would also be interested in hearing from you guys if it's effective or not. Based on FireRN above it sounds promising so far. I might just have to make an appointment to get that done along with having them recalibrate my auto high beams which have never worked right.
I would have done the you connect update myself, but since it was in-service, I just let them do it all.

If you do take it in for the heated seats, try to do a same day comparison. Before you do the update, turn the heat on high and time how long it takes to feel it, and try to remember how hot it actually get. Do the same as soon as you pick it up.

Yeah I definitely will plus I'm very used to how the heated seats work especially going to Chicago winters. I remembe immediately noticing the difference between how well the heated seats worked in my 2014 Summit and how poorlyin my 2015 high-altitude. So if the update does fix things I'll definetly know.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

have any of you guys looked into exhaust systems or have them on yours? I only have the V6 3.6L but was looking at the magnaflow catback system 19216. Ive seen a couple of other people do the upgrade but no one with a high altitude.

I follow a guy on Instagram called jeep_altitude, that put a Corsa system on his v6. Sounds pretty good. I put a K&N cold air intake, and that made small but noticeable difference in sound...

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Just took my HA in today. The only software update that showed up was a PCM update. Nothing for the heated seats. I gave them the TSB info, so hopefully they will be able to find it and install it.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

dealer called and stated my new armrest is in and i can come in Friday for install and the SIRI Uconnect update, took them a month from request to arrival for the part, they never gave me any hassle but also didn't seem that motivated to get it.

I'm gonna print out the Service Bulletin and give it to them. That way they will be hard pressed to say they know nothing about it.

That's been known for a few weeks and was in the news. For instance here's one article:

Gear shift confusion causes Chrysler recall - Apr. 22, 2016

Does this mean you've had it done? So far I haven't heard any feedback from someone getting the "fix" as to what the specific behavior change is.
