Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

So, I dropped off my HA this morning for the BCM heated seats update, the PCM smoother shifting PCM update and the shifter safety recall monster fix requiring 4 system updates and an information card. While there, I'll get an oil change and rotate tires. They are also addressing the fender well trim that has not been straight since delivery. Oh, boy! I hope they only make it better and don't screw up anything. Incidentally, I was offered a loaner without even asking for it. Of course, its a stripped down brand new Chrysler 200 that doesn't even have bluetooth. Man, I am missing my HA. But, at least they appear to be taking care of me. I'll report back after picking the car, either later today or tomorrow. Pray for me!

Hey gack, what did you do to get the tires to sit out like that giving your jeep that aggressive stance. Where did you get the rims. It all looks nice. 😎

Thanks! Actually it's the rims, they are made specifically for the Jeep/Durango, so they are perfectly flush. Rims are from Velgen, if interested, let me know I can put you in touch.

You can get most other rims to sit flush too, just need to know the rims offset, and you can use wheel spacers to get them out a bit more. Some just use the stock wheels and add spacers to get them flush, looks good too, but then the tires are still a bit skinny in my opinion on the stock rims.

I didn't get the car back yet with all updates. They said it would probably be tomorrow. I'm sure they're swamped. The recall bulletin stated 2.3 hours for the S27 recall alone. With all the others, I can't complain at it taking another day, especially since they gladly gave the loaner. I report back as soon as I pick the car up and drive it a bit.
