In the process of getting rid of all the chrome. Wrapped all the front myself, while on the car, but did buy the grill rings and install those. Did the tail lights, next I will autoDip that bottom chrome piece.

It's just a software update, right? They don't have to take the seats apart, right?

They did the swap out. They do need the part that is being replaced. They wanted it for a few hours. I told them I don't have time for that and scheduled it for an hour from when they closed. I just said this is a 15 minute job.

Did you have to remove any of the trivalent in order to wrap it? I'm going to have a tint professional do the window chrome, and possibly the trivalent. I'm just worried about them breaking something if they have to remove it. How is the trivalent attached anyway? Thanks.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

The grille rings can be removed relatively easy - use a trim tool and give a pull at the bottom of each ring and then move around to the sides of each. The rest can be done on the car because to remove the trivalent from the bumpers you have to take the bumpers off.

The heated seats update is software only. They have to flash the BCM Body Body Control Module per TSB 08-042-16.

Does anyone know if the folded Mirrors can be coded to fold with key Fob or unfold at certain speed.

I know the 2017 summit will have auto fold. Does Jeep have a coding solution for owners like BMW has?

. Don't see any Coding DIY section here like bimmerpost. I do a lot of coding on my bimmer.

In my 2015 HA, my mirrors fold out (unfold) automatically when starting to drive above a certain speed (i.e. fairly low speed once in drive and pulling away from the house) . I dont believe there is a way to get them to auto fold in at a low speed unless you hit the mirror fold button on the door.

Say wha? Do you have a import Grand Cherokee? They definitely don't do any auto folding in or out here in the U.S. Interesting!
