Well the multimedia computer runs on Linux. You need the wifi password for your vehicle which is based on default system time during head unit boot.

Also all wifi is based on Sprint subscription, once in the task is to access the CAN bus and navigate to the appropriate controller

It's not as easy as you think

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I just had the shifter recall S27 done along with the heated seats TSB and the smoother shifting TSB. I read on my work order that they also replaced the left front axle half shaft but I can't find a recall or TSB for this on 2015 models. I hope they didn't screw up anything. The 'AUTO PARK" feature automatically shifts into PARK if the vehicle is in gear (D or R), going under 1.2 mph or stopped, unbuckle, and open the driver door. It is working that way. I see no other problems.

How's the "smoother" shifting. Any noticeable difference?

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

How do we know apart from "feel" that the HA has stiffer suspension from the others? I can't find a write-up on my build sheet which just states "regular duty suspension".

I didn't have a problem with the shifting before and still don't. I can't detect any difference. I'm hoping it might improve gas mileage. I'm told that even if you don't specify any flash updates, they connect and automatically query the system for any updates not currently installed and do them. I suppose it's good that they try to make all systems current.

How about trying to fold it as you're already on the highway?

Let me try later as I accelerate out of being parked after work if it auto unfolds.
Just a follow up that indeed the mirrors auto unfold for HA Canadian model. I was hitting around 10 KM/H (around 6 MPH) and it went back out again.

Okay, thanks for confirmation. It's weird it's not reflected on the build sheet.

If I recall, the consensus on the forum was that this was never actually proven to be true. I haven't seen any proof that it's a different suspension than the Overland. No one has found part #'s to be any different.

And the plot thickens...

So I've always kind of wondered for sure either way since most forum discussions didn't offer anything concrete either way on the subject. So after spending some time looking into it further, I think I take back my comment.

There DOES seem to be different part #s for a normal vs sport suspension. So I now think there really is a difference between HA and other trims. Mystery solved.

Normal:
68029902AE (Right)
68029903AE (Left

Sport:
68080194AB (Right)
68231887AA (Left)

Oddly the left sport strut is listed twice w/ 2 very different prices on the same part #. I'll assume that's a listing error.
