There is no TSB... this is the S16 safety recall.

Replacing the left front brake caliper due to it being cast from incorrect material.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Hey... I think I have a problem. I reinstalled the original ride height links prior to bringing the car in for s27 recall, tsb's etc. Today, with factory links still in place, it took longer than it should to raise to OR2. Then pulling out of my driveway while in OR2, going over small bump, there was a clunk from right front. I tested this multiple times. No problem in OR1 but definitely a clunking when in OR2 going over any bumps. Any ideas?

I can't speak for normal or longer than normal time to raise to OR2 but in OR2 your suspension is maxed out and there's not much left to absorb terrain irregularities. Many people report that there's a lot of thumping and clunking going on in OR2... and that's normal in that setting.

Nope, I do not have an extended warranty nor did I buy my Jeep at this dealership. They just offer loaners, it's great!

Just curious, how'd you notice the rear seat backs were loose? Heavy horizontal shaking when going over bumps? Best of luck with all your repairs man! Keep us posted on the results. I'd love to hear if they were able to remedy the harsh shifting with a software flash.
No the front seats in mine are rock solid. The issue is only the rears. I noticed this when I was back there messing with something and I'm like why can I move the seat back back and forth a little. Didn't seem right so while at a dealer I wiggled the top of another grand Cherokee and it was solid. Then another and it had play. There is no rattling while driving, it's only while using a little
Force from your hand.

That's literally how OR2 is. It is by no means a pleasant ride and it was not intended for normal on road use. When I had my summit I tried driving in OR2 and it was downright violent and clunky.

Thanks for that feedback. It had me concerned. I certainly don't plan on ever using OR2 unless there is very deep standing water or I have to ford a stream here in Boca Raton, but I did get nervous backing out of the driveway and hearing and feeling that clunk. Tomorrow the lowering links go back on.

Loaded the family into the Jeep and headed to the north shore for the 4th of July.

I like the yellow fogs, actually. Makes more visibility sense (oncoming cars) than white, correct? Will look into the laws for Canada.

I started using 3000K fogs on my last car and I really like them. It's more useable light at night, especially in rain and snow. I'll never go back to white foglights now. I just ordered another set of 3000K LED fogs for my other car too.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Thanks for tip. I just checked our Motor Vehicle Act here and amber fogs are allowed.

I know I can Google, but since you just ordered can you let me know the bulb type needed for our fogs please and thanks.

I've always had to laugh at manufacturers that put white lights on their vehicles and then call them fog lights.

Light color is as important as the beam pattern being thrown by the light. Amber light doesn't get reflected back at you as much in fog, rain and snow as white light does. It's a noticeable difference.
