Yeah I have noticed that a lot also seems most manufactures are moving that direction. Thy should drop the word fog because they are not really fog unless they are yellow they are more of a driving light these days. I get fog maybe once every two years and I just think of them as more light on the road and edges to help see. The SRT LED "Fog" lights lol are a good upgrade to HA/Summit they put a lot of light to the road but a fog cutter they aint

I use mine as "driving lights", so I prefer the 5K LEDs I'm running, but yes, the lower temps are a better choice for serious fog driving.

This has been occurring in mine at park height as I pull out of my place - there are lot of speed bumps that you hit sub 10 MPH. There is almost always a loud clunck coming out of the front R side (and ONLY ever the front R) - sounded like a bum shock.

This has been going on since I purchased the car - took it to the dealer less than a week or two after I purchased it in March. Dealer looked at it and said it's normal and all shocks/springs are perfect. Said the general same idea, that when the ride height is at extremes (ORII or park) that when you hit bumps, it will bottom out.

Anyone else have that happen at low speeds? Kind of odd that it only comes from the front R though.

That is interesting.... Once I put the lowering links back in that lowers all modes about 1", and I raised it to OR2.....No clunking pulling out of my driveway. I've never experienced it in Entry/Exit height with or without the lowering links. I am guessing that based on what others are saying here, at extreme height it is not unusual to get that clunking. I do wonder why it seems to come only from the front right, though. I guess I am learning something new about the Grand Cherokee every day.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

It's absolutely true that if you are at the extremes of the QL travel (OR-II or Park) you will feel bumps if they cause you to hit the stops. Neither of these height levels were designed to handle much speed in that respect.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

On a totally different subject, the oem wipers are the frame and insert type. On other cars I was a fan of the Bosch Icon frameless blades with great performance and life. Any suggestions on what is best for Grand Cherokee that will probably never see snow or ice?

eng', I use the Bosh Icons...and have been very pleased with them. Remove OEM, slip on the Icons. Done.

Jeep Grand Cherokee wipers are different since 2014. Do you know for sure Bosch Icons will fit a 2014 or 2015?

No, I don't...and wasn't aware that the wipers were changed. Thanks for bringing that up! But Amazon sells them and you can put in make/model/year and it "should" preclude trying to sell you a format that will not work.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Got my '15 HA back from th dealership yesterday after a week in a loaner. It seems like they did a nice job! Two recalls complete and I verified the shifter recall works. It definitely slams it in park once the Jeep starts rolling lol. I might not try doing that again LOL.
Heated seat TSB absolutely works! My heated seat gets very toasty so that will be nice when winter comes around.
My recently developed harsh 2-3 shift is smooth as can be now with the replacement of the valve body. Hopefully that lasts.
It's nice to be back in my HA!

For the past week I've been noticing a rougher 2-3 maybe it's time to drop it off soon for the recal, oil change, and to get that looked at

Please let us know what fixes the 2-3 shifting issue. I haven't had a problem, but JT seems to have had the valve body replaced to correct his. I'll have to pay close attention to see if I start experiencing the same thing. With 10k miles, I'm still ok, though.
