Heated seat TSB absolutely works! My heated seat gets very toasty so that will be nice when winter comes around.
My recently developed harsh 2-3 shift is smooth as can be now with the replacement of the valve body. Hopefully that lasts.
It's nice to be back in my HA!
Awesome news! I'm going to schedule an appointment to bring my rig into service next week for the shifter recall, harsh 2nd - 3rd shifting and some miscellaneous trim fitment issues. *fingers crossed*

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I have my 16 HA going in on Monday for the S16 brake caliper and S28 shifter assy replacement. They also mentioned that they have 2 software updates to do on it as well. We'll see how all of that shakes out.

Haven't had any shift quality issues so far and I hope what they do doesn't induce any.

The shifting algorithms seem to be different on my 16 than on my 14. What I really notice on the 16 is that the trans doesn't downshift from 2-1 now until the vehicle is completely stopped. I definitely like that and it "should" eliminate the potential for that harsh downshift.

I've had a problem with the wheel well trim not sitting right since delivery. The first service advisor I asked about it said they would probably not do anything about it. I fired him and complained to the service manager. They ordered a replacement that that will be painted to match and then installed. It seems to be held on with clips and adhesive. At least the bright white shouldn't be a problem to match.

On my '15 I think it was a rough 3-4? The dealer had an update for the trans than flashed it. Worked perfect after that. I gotta keep an eye out and see but will post back if I take it in.

If you are talking about the horizontal painted trim piece that is somewhat "U" shaped and is right above the tire, I have the same problem on both rear trim pieces. On both sides of my HA the pieces have become dislodged as the adhesive doesnt seem to have taken. Im also having problems with my rear bumper not sitting flush with the trunk. I had to take it into the dealers bodyshop (third party) to get them to look at it and send a quote to the dealer. Ive been waiting about a month and still nothing has been done. They keep blaming it on Chrysler as they are suppose to approve it. I dont see why it takes that long to get something that is obviously a flaw, approved.

New 2015 HA Billet Silver owner joining the thread!

Unfortunately I managed to scratch up the lower front bumper- don't even know how. Any recommendations on the best way for a shop to handle that? Really bums me out!

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

you could try a little polishing compound and then some touch up, if its too noticeable then get a shop to repaint it but id hate to take the factory finish off of a bumper like that for something so minor if you can get a bit of touch up to look ok. that lower edge is low enough you may not notice it that much but work with it see what you get if not have them paint it.

Looks like you scraped it on one of those concrete stops they put in parking spaces to stop your from driving forward. I agree,a little compound and a good buff.

That looks too deep to buff out and trying to touch it up may make it stick out even more. I don't think you'd be happy with anything short of repainting that piece.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Not that it fixes anything after the fact but probably after the re-paint you might consider paint protection film for the bottom.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I'm trying to get out of my '14 Altitude and get into a '16 High Altitude and I have some negative equity so my payment is going to be a little higher than I want. I notice a lot of people in this thread have gotten 36 month leases with a decent payment. The Dealer is telling me that the best deal is on the 48 month lease. I really don't want to do a 4 year lease, but they said it's a lot more to do the 3 year one. Just curious if it depends on the dealer or is it because I have the negative equity?
